I'm 17 years old and Linkin Park's music has accompanied my life for such a long time. I've seen them live, it was one of the best experiences in my life and I still can't wrap my head around what has happened. I've already had to deal with suicide cases twice: one person, I didn't know that well and I think I can understand her decision at least a bit and the other person was my grandpa- it may sound strange but because I can understand why he did it I never had too much of a problem with it. Every case is different but not knowing a person who's still very important to you makes it hurt a lot- you have no idea why he did it, I can't understand it and I couldn't do anything to prevent it. Not only have we lost an awesome musician but also a great, influential human being. It still feels so surreal.

Kanashi Atisuto I'm 16 on Saturday and I've also dealt with someone important in my life committing suicide, he was my friends best friend. We only talked a few times but it was more than enough for me to understand he didn't deserve what he went through, according to the best friend he had dealt with parent abuse for a while and had ran away on many occasions. I'm guessing he couldn't take it anymore. The passing of Chester also struck me hard because they've had such an influence on me, he will be gravely missed by many.

Im so tired of the sadness in this world. The anger is too much, and the corrupt make it worse. And the good people always suffer. Then some of the suffering good people turn into the people they swore they wouldnt become. This world is a mess. Full of sadness, anger, and suffering. People turn to drugs for a release, people commit suicide to be set free from the pain, people kill others because of a built up anger. People lie, people steal, people look down on others. People do not enjoy their surroundings. They do not see the beauty of what could be, or what is. Im done talking now... i doubt anyone would even pay attention.

Numb. A song that I can't foget, because thats was my first song that I listened a lot, but with a clean mind, having fun form stupid jokes from classmates about them ( linkin park ), just that sounded so stupid ad unbeliveble. Numb for mi was and it is even now a start for a lot of thing that I do and am doing, a greatest base to reflect and fighting for what i want and protect what I achieved. Thanks Lucas for that little tribute, and let's say goodbye to Chester. Another piece of history was writen with death.

I wish someone could have confronted him and stopped him from committing suicide because he had made a huge impact on millions of fans who love his music. Sadly his demons of depression had gotten the best of him.

I'll admit, I wasn't a huge fan of Linkin Park post Meteora and didn't listen to them for a while until a few months ago. When Chester died, I started listening to Hybrid Theory, Meteora and finally decided to give the new stuff a chance and I actually fell in love with them again. Old or New, Linkin Park are one of my all time faves. I feel like I lost someone close to me in Chester.

I grew up with there music and Chester was the one that helped me through my early teens and teenager years still as an adult. Though, my early teens and teens was more difficult because my father relationship was horrible and I was being bullied in school and family did not like me. Hearing there music inspired me to write and draw it also made me stronger. Till this day my life has not change I am just an adult but I do not let these things discourage me and hate myself like I did before. When I heard of his passing it was tough and listening to his music I had tears on my eyes because even though he did not know any of us we all felt connected with the lyrics and the feelings that we had inside. Chester left a scar on my heart. When his death was first announced I sat in my room, and just played their music over and over again. Linkin Park is something everyone in this generation grew up with. And the thing that sucks is, you don't realize how much you love something until it's gone. Chester will forever be known as the alternative rock king, and I hope he rests peacefully.

I worked as a massage therapist for ten years, I have heard every single kind of relaxing piano music from classical to new age, etc that they play in spas and health clinics....and to be honest piano music was never my favorite. Piano never tugged at my heart. Then, I listened to a song by you. The song was "Insanity". I spent a long time carefully listening to everything you have here on KZbin.....I have NEVER been so moved by a piano in my life. There are subtle nuances in your music that I would never imagined one instrument could make. Especially one I didn't particularly like. This is art. This is pure. I don't mean to sound syrupy sweet, but damn. I thought I had heard everything a piano had to offer. You have changed the game. I cannot wait to hear more from you.

I'm sorry if this is off topic but... this song...growing up... it changed me. I took to writing to cope with my stresses and I just have to get this off of my chest, feeling inspired. Thank you for bringing light to the dark, this music is wonderful and I love it, Lucas. All I ever wanted was my father with me but he never really wanted any bonding with me so I took to grass doin' rap cos it's always been bothering me I'm numb So Imma say it now & say it proud! My mother's a saint, she worked two jobs so nothin' would change and every night I'd suffer in pain, she'd hug it away, it'd be something she'd say, I don't know what but It'd comfort my aches, see, I was too young to ever bother to help her, but now as a man, my day offs are every hour to help her, -- I can't write any further, just getting upset, so much to say but thats all I can do.
