May the Lord have mercy.. I started praying for number 2 right away after swearing in. It was obvious he had pain and bitterness. But it's not his will, it's very painful when someone does you a mess or does hurtful thing to you. (I was in a situation where a lady stole from me alot of money, it was too painful, since I had already planned for that money, so when I was praying kneeling down and I said to the Lord, I forgive this lady for stealing from me, i heard a clear such like voice saying to me, "you have not forgiven her".. I had to confess daily that I forgive that lady now and then, I could say it like a song even during the day, until the Lord intervened, and I was asking the Lord for mercy to help me forgive that lady with all my heart, after one year, I realized I have no grudge or any hint of wrong towards that lady) so I want to say, it's not easy to forgive as people think, it's the Lord who can uproot that stony heart of unforgiveness and create in us a heart of love and mercy.. So that we deal and stay with people in a way that pleases God. Let's pray for number 2, Rigathi Gachagua to give him the heart of forgiveness, and all of us, not only our leaders.
