My 10 Advice For New YouTube Channels

Just typed out his invaluable points here : 1) Don’t care about number of views and subscribers.Get ready to be ridiculed even by closest friends. Don’t get insulted. Even if you do, get away from the place and don’t lose determination. 2) Consistency is key. Make atleast one or two videos every week. Don’t make 100 videos for one month and then vanish for 3 months. Make it occassional but consistent! 3) Short and sweet is the best way to deliver a message through a video. 5-7mins max. Except for tutorials, make sure to keep your content clear cut! 4) Find and build your own style and your own content made of your own ideas and your own hard work. Don’t copy.Focus on becoming unique! 5) First 15-30 seconds of your video is very important. Make sure to make it catchy! 6) Title and Thumbnail should be relevant and catchy but not clickbait types. 7) Keep original your own content. Take music from NCS. Do NOT take copyrighted content otherwise you’ll be in trouble. 8) Upload at the time of maximum viewer presence and activity. Generally it’s a weekend before late evening. 9) You don’t need an expensive GoPro or topend phone to make quality content. You can start with a basic camera or motorcycle. The content is the more important. Motorcycle,camera,editing hardware are all just tools! 10) Don’t beg or force people to subscribe to your channel! Make your content and post videos consistently. The right set of people will come and stay :) Bonus : 1) Make a lot of collaborations but don’t force it. Request them and if they agree, do it! 2) Try to make videos on trending topics as more people will be looking for it! 3) Experience is the key! If you are going to make reviews, make sure you are well experienced and well knowledgeble. Most importantly passionate and enthusiastic. This will gain you mindshare! 4) Make sure your content highly informative. Your viewers should be able to take something from your work and learn or get inspired from it! 5) Use good editing software like Vegas/Adobe.etc and learn the basics and post production! You can make a bad video look good with proper editing! 6) Gratification is delayed. Don’t worry about money,views and subscribers. Focus on your hardwork and your skills! Hard work will never go under appreciated. It will always be recognized. Strive to do! Best of luck to all of you! Keep the blue smoke alive!
