How to track text on a map:
• How To Track Text - Af...
Know what text you want at the end, count the letters and spaces used
Write random numbers but keep it the same amount as the end letters and spaces
Text - Animate - character offset
Alt click - character offset
Write - time* (your frame rate) - lets it change each frame
Change character alignment to - center
Text - animate - scale
Change animators 2 scales down to 0
Open the range selector
Animate the start / end to build itself
Advanced - smoothness - 0
Close animator 2, go back into animator 1
Open Range Selector
Key frame it so it changes from random numbers to our original ones
Go frame by frame to alter the text to our final result so it builds itself

Hey mate! Great stuff! Keep up the good fight, we support you! I'm going crazy trying to change chinese text in the same fashion (so instead of numbers, a chinese font) from Chinese to a regular font... So it flickers with random chinese "symbols" then finally ends in a legible english text... But of course changing font is not the same as numbers to text within the same font... any ideas how to do this? Thanks a million!

i noticed that at 10, 20, 30 and so on the numbers loop back to what i originally typed, i think using random instead might help
