I have some numbness toes feet, no diabetes doctor sent me nerve test showed absent sensory nerves below knee think. Has me baffled he referred me hospital I see neurologist 2 weeks .. hope not bad I’m 55. Maybe vaccine cause it idk happened after that . Oh I did see podiatrist too so Morton neuroma ruled out and so was tarsal tunnel I’m worried

so my intermittent numbness and tingling over the last five days is probably chronic anxiety then. The early morning is worse. My right eye keeps twitching though. I can still put my shoes my by balancing on one leg so hopefully it is just anxiety. Pretty awful though in any case.

Hey. Just seeing this. Mine is the same... left eye twitching and intermittent numbness. Definitely seems to be worse in the morning and goes away completely for most of the day, then random flare ups. Had that for 2 weeks now and booked to see a neurologist. How long did yours last? I didn't feel anxious though until I got these symptoms ha. Bit of a catch 22. But from everything I'm reading online, the numbness doesn't seem to come and go like that throughout the day... so really hoping it's not. Scary.

​@fawcett682 how are you now? I had numbness that moved from the tips of my fingers on my left hand to my chest. Then slowly went away. Hopefully seeing a neurologist soon. I think stress does impact it. And like you said it happens in the mornings for me.

@@Grr8jon Hey. I went to see a neurologist and he got me to do some basic tests (hop on one foot etc.). He was a bit annoying... he asked a bunch of questions without any obvious reason. I had travelled from another city to be there as it was the only appointment available and he didn't see to be able to grasp that. Also before the appointment I had to send in my GP referral and fill out all this stuff on my symptoms for him to read before I got there... which he didn't do. Asked why i was there and then when I referenced all that he then sat and read it in front of me. Seemed very uninterested. Anyway, he said he didn't think it was MS but still recommended an MRI. Which I was going to get but then the symptoms just disappeared... That was about 2 and a bit months ago. So I ended up cancelling the MRI. I just didn't want to go tbh. If the symptoms do return then I guess I will get one. Fingers crossed they don't and it was just a random event. Hopefully the same for you

The dreaded Covid got me five months ago. Neuropathy all over my face and limbs. Turns out l was B9 deficient which Covid then has ramped up many times in regard to symptoms.

Fantastic video, i have been having change in feeling on my face and pain and tingling all over my body and worried it was MS. But the tingling is most likely positional from inflammation and I started taking a b vitamin that has helped with the paresthesia with my face. Pain probably from inflammation caused by diabetes.

I had a brain MRI and they detected 6 lesions , but the radiologist told me that they are not from MS... can they know from MRI if they are MS lesions or not?

I have something my neurologist is trying to figure out. I get flashes or numbness through my body but also includes my lips and tongue! When I move my eyes to the right and it advanced to just when moving my neck too bc your eyes move anyway. It’s so weird and scary. I’d love ideas from another professional

Thank you for checking in! No changes and no formal diagnosis. He thinks it’s from cervical spinal stenosis. I also have a 3mm microadenoma on my pituitary gland but doesn’t feel it can cause any of these symptoms. This was from a UCSF neurologist! My left eye/eyeball also becomes very tender to touch when dabbing on make up and eventually just moving it. Happens every 1-2 months. Possibly depending on how much I’m working on the computer? Haven’t been able to identify the cause yet. But I do have dry eye. New job, now Kaiser Permanente insurance and they aren’t going to pursue all these things.

Question. For the last 3 months I have had what feels like numbness/tingling or like a vibration in my neck, upper back, shoulder, arms, now seems to migrate to the left side, but i have this sensation in my head also. When moving it intensifies the feeling but it’s non stop. My skin also feels tight, like sunburned but doesn’t hurt. And when touching the area it intensifies what seems to feel like a numbing but I can feel when I prick myself. Had a small fiber neuropathy biopsy positive at ankle for length dependent. All of this came on sudden and is also causing some sharp nerve pains in feet and hands, rib, and some tingling that comes and goes in the hands and feet. Riding in a car and feeling vibration makes this worse. When it first started, I felt something like liquid run down the back of neck but nothing there. This is really taking a toll on me and I’m not able to enjoy life anymore, I’m convinced I’m not going to live long or I will eventually end up paralyzed. I’m also dizzy, off balance all the time. MRI clear. Any thoughts on whether this sounds like SFN as it is constant? Thank you, I’d love to hear back from you!

You will need a comprehensive evaluation by neurologist for discussing diagnosis. Symptoms such as numbness and tingling can be due to numerous conditions. MS is always possible but less likely if numbness and tingling is only symptoms

Yes, me too...I could draw a line with a ruler. I also have weakness of the left side. But my MRIs are clear of any type of lesions! So now I am in a limbo of not having any diagnosis or treatment. Then again; Diagnosis does not cure me. So meanwhile I do everything that I can to bring health to my life.

@@SatumainenOlento very true. I desperately want diagnosis though because it would better help me understand how I can help myself. Like I could be helping myself maybe thinking I’m helping certain issues but could possibly be making them worse without knowing it. That type of thing. Sometimes I wonder…is it my heart? My nervous system? My brain? All of the above? Cancer? MS? The way you’d help yourself or treat yourself would vary greatly depending on the issue and where you could focus. Like I was diagnosed with pots. But I also have high blood pressure. Hearing someone tell me salt intake helps with pots…if I didn’t know better I’d be taking in all this sodium and making my blood pressure worse without even realizing it. So I’m always careful but extremely frustrated not knowing how to properly help myself. Because I know that no doctor is going to help me. Maybe give me bandaid meds for symptom management but I’d want to know the cause so I could work on that. I hate not knowing if I am even capable of getting better or if I just am fighting some degenerative disease and suffering with the fight.
