Found this cool thing out for mtga that you can do to help with limited deck building. Especially for standard. If set your deck UI to the top/bottom split screen. Click the middle arrow up to make your whole deck space cover the screen. You can then click on the colours in the colour wheel and it will bring all the cards of that colour into your deck as a highlighted card. Click it again and it will remove those cards that you brought in. This will not remove the card you already have of that colour in. Only the ones the button brought in. Very handy.

Boros is pretty strong I've found with this set, first draft I had trophy was a boros deck, then 2 more after going usually 1-3 to 3-3

New to the game, and i dont understand why u dont splash third color. Like 1 mana 0/2 frogs and moose woud be nice in majority boros deck. Cheap ways to target and premium beatet

In a format that's defined by curving out, messing with the mana base doesn't usually end well. Usually playing a third color would only be for single off-color cards but with the moose being double green, that's really gonna do bad things to your curve out possibilities.

It generally often boils down to consistency - you don't want to splash unless your fixing is solid, or the cards you want to splash for are single-pips/REALLY worth splashing for. The moose is a nice keyword soup, but if he's splashing for green in this deck, there's a fairly decent chance that he'd struggle to get the second forest in time to cast it (the sort of thing I've seen happen too often to count on Arena). Likewise, since he's already building with the Dragonhawk in mind, which is a 2-pip red card, adding a third color would also make it harder to cast on 5 consistently. For the frogs, I think it's generally just ill-advised to splash for 1-mana cards, but if he had been splashing green for some solid bombs, they probably would have been higher in consideration for sure. All that being said, I'm just some random player, not a pro like Kenji, so others can feel free to correct me, since I always want to learn, too.

A splash is usually done with strong late game cards, you can't Splash early game cards as you usually don't have the mana for it on early turns. Moose is dubble green, you'd hardly ever be able to cast it. Underestimating the effects of a splash or adding a color is a typical beginner mistake by the way.

you guys are playing Bloomburrow wrong if you're not putting a moose in your deck

I agree the format is very Creature oriented, but stop complaining as a content creator for not “liking” the set. I look up to you for your thoughts and process- this is just a constant bad look.

Yeah I also kinda hate it when he gets complainy, and he does it quite often sadly

how does being a content creator have anything to do with liking a set :( it's my job to make content, but if the product is bad I'm not going to pretend it's all happy fun times

I'm really wanting smoking spot videos of the other soul's games. There are tons in DS 2 and 3 that my buddies and I would point out. Not to mention how many in Elden Ring, Bloodborne, etc.. 🦎🏞️🌱
