Yes, I admit that these food stalls have things that look good and smell good, but be careful. I got dysentery eating stuff like this and was afraid to stray from a hotel room with a toilet for days. Unless your gut is adapted to local food like this you need to pack medications to deal with the Philippine version of "Montezuma's Revenge".

I don't appreciate how Filipino street food has so much pre-made food cooked in advance and sitting in the hot, sweltering heat, which differs significantly from the rest of Asia, where most food items are made-to-order. As a customer, we don't know how hygienic the foods are. It could've been sitting there for hours (hence spoiled). Come on, Philippines, you can do better than this.

Some food are cooked in advance and heated up. Its common in carenderias here and food stalls where people come and eat fast and go. Not the restaurants. If you want a made to order food, you can go to a restaurant ☺️☺️ there is a long waiting time for food to arrive tho, about 30 mins to an hour. I've visited malaysia, singapore, thailand, vietnam and indonesia. We have the same thing going on here and there. Enjoy your travels~
