I didn’t know that could be done with the string (as opposed to the chain and ball bearings kind). I’ll definitely give it a go. Also you can pour wax from a candle on the strings at the top of the chuck to make the string last longer. Thanks for the lesson.

My first pair was the chain and ball bearing. Got them sometime in the 90s. Definitely beat myself up with them!
