There used to be a Pontiac dealership near there years ago. Foster Pontiac. Took my wifes car in for service once and walked over to the hotel for a couple drinks. Used to also be a rooming house with a large communal bathroom/shower area. Neat old art deco interior.

Nice video! Too bad you couldn't have gone in, probably not safe though. Thanks for sharing.

My friends and I stopped in this place in I think the mid nineties to have a drink in the bar. We didn't finish because let's just say the place wasn't very clean or friendly. If I remember correctly it was a rooming house at the time. Still I'm happy to say that I was there.

I grew up on 13 and college ave I findit hard to believe that the Town of lake went that far north And West maybe it did But I can tell you that between 6th and 13street on College ave The rail road station for the Town of lake was if it's still there it had sign lake. I now live out side of WildRose.

That is really interesting I did not know about the RR station! Very cool. The Town of Lake actually went west to 27th St in the 1800's, and north to Greenfield Ave. It was pretty big which surprised me as well!
