There are simply no boundaries limits or explanation for the pure intesity and diversity of Nunos and all Extremes influence on me as a musician, guitar player, songwriter. Up until the ages of 14 I grew up on Queen, the Beatles, Hendrix and Van Halen. Then once Pornografitti reached me, III Sides and the incredible Punchline. There was no going back. Each band directly influenced the next,The Beatles, Queen, Extreme.. Now I'm in my 40s and a healthy back catalog of songs in my back pocket it is clear how tremendously unique and eclectic these influences have shaped and coloured the songwriter I have grown to be. Hearing and having lived so much incredible music from Mr B... Schizophonic, Mourning Widows, Population 1, the epic sounding, exceptionally written and produced Love album by Dramagods.. Just blows me away... What a drum sound.. 15 years or whatever later.. Satallite Party another. We are all so lucky to be on the receiving end after so long.. So hearing new music and newer generations of people discovering Extremes latest songs. Listening to Extreme is just like hearing old friends, just incredible. Reminds me of a time when life was less complicated. Nuno, thank you! What an outstanding contribution to the Universe of music. Roll on Extreme 7❤

I've seen interviews quoting that he cables directly into the same Plexi he used in the 80s. An always-on Rat into a DSL with a GT8 is a completely different rig. Batteries, unplugging things from the loop, etc. I don't see how any of that matters when a battery-powered Rat does not.

A 150W Plexi would be incredibly impractical for current playing as it has no master volume. The only way to turn it down would be with an attenuator or using an iso cab. Modern Marshalls like the JCM 2000 DSL and the JVM can do the Plexi sound without issues.

In simple terms nuno just use GT8 it just matter who's Is playing and how he's producing the sound through the effects ...🎉

Guitar setup pickup strings, all that stuff makes a difference on tone too, people think they can just get a guitar? And no sound like somebody! Haha!
