Nuno's Future Uncertain as De Zerbi Linked! Spurs Want Hudson-Odoi For £25m! Nottingham Forest News

In this video, we dive into the uncertain future of Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo. After a tweet by transfer guru Romano, speculation is mounting about his tenure at the club. I think there are so so many players that go from teams like Forest where they are playing week in week out, to a top 6 team, to warm the bench. If I were him, I'd want to play. And look at the team around him, he needs to have a word with MGW and both agree to not leave. Those 2 along with Elanga is a pretty potent forward 3. Imagine a top level striker in front of them. Look at what you have, instead of trying to jump ship. We shouldn't be looking to sell, we should be building.

We are now an established premier league club with excellent facilities for players and managers, plus a huge community of fans and an owner who has proved himself in terms of dedication and financial backing. Building a squad to kick on and eventually have success requires a team pulling in the same direction. So that’s the only thing for me, keep those who buy into it and remove those who don’t. We are an attractive prospect for managers and players alike.

I hope Nuno stays - he spoke about arriving mid-season and needing to get the players to trust him, and I think you really saw it coming together towards the end. It must have been jarring for the players to go from Cooper, who sold himself as a door always open, happy to talk to players manager (I'm sure some players might disagree), to Nuno who is a little more direct, hands off, and tactical. Seriously think back to the last three or four games - you really saw how much better we handled set pieces. You saw some of the play starting to gel with what Nuno wanted from his players. He deserves a pre-season, a real one, and a chance to shape a squad. Now it's over to Ross Wilson, who we were told is great at selling players not needed at clubs. We could feasibly comfortably sell and shed 12-15 players without touching the first team squad. Let's get it done.

I’ve noticed a concerning pattern in a lot of our results this season under both Cooper and Nuno which is every time we take the lead in a game we almost always concede a goal within 5-10 minutes afterwards even if we’re 2-0 we’d still bottle it in the last 15 minutes. If we’d been able to see those games out and not had a points deduction we’dve had about 51 points which would be 10th place. I’m not sure if there’s issues with certain players but it’s clearly not just the manager cause it happened under both. We have quality we’re just lacking the mentality and we need a manager who’s going to give the team some drive

Ok, we didn't finish as high up the table as myself, and probably most of the fans and the Greek father would like, but we stayed up. As for selling Cho, i really like him and his talent, but I'd sooner him go to cover the PSR problem than MGW and / or Murrilo be sold to cover it, but that's my own opinion. If Forest needs to sell a player among Murillo, MGW and CHO to fulfill PSR requirements, I would sell CHO. Both MGW and Murillo are the core of Forest’s attack and defence. It will be easier to find a AML. For De Zebri issue, Forest’s current squad doesn’t fit his style in Brighton and he also want to join an ambitious club. What’s his definition of ambition? If it is winning the title, I think Forest is not his target for the next couple of years, at least.

Spuds can go and play with themselves. CHO said being away from London was key reason for his form. Ange is not that great a manager, he’s been worked out he reminds me of the season we had Stuart Pearce and the great start he had until he was worked out and he couldn’t win a game. CHO and MGW would spend half the season sat on the bench. Nuno story sounds like BS, the standard review of the season meeting and forward planning always happens in the first couple of days after the last game. Besides we are now into silly season for journalists as we enter the transfer merry go round. We’ll be linked with 5 managers and 20 players.
