Hans, good review, especially because nuprime reviews are hard to find. I have had the Stream Mini without the DAC for about a year now. At the moment I have still mixed feelings about it: I tested Tidal, Quobuz, Deezer HD and Amazon Music on it. I would love to use Amazon Music HD, but the nuprime support informed me in March about the support of Amazon Music HD starting in May. Since then I have been waiting for it. The receiver app is mediocre imho with crashes now and then and lack of playlist support depending on the service used. These are some drawbacks, though the device and sound are really good at the price point. Edit 1 year later: After upgrading my system to Nuprime DAC9X and Nuprime STA-9 with Dynaudio Emit 10 and A/B testing the Nuprime Stream Mini, Wiim Pro and Lindemann Limetree Bridge 2 I am now very happily using the Stream Mini with Qobuz. For me it sounds the best and most neutral. With the Limetree, which is considerably more expensive, I had sibilance problems and could not listen without fatigue. With the Nuprime it is a different story: I can listen for hours on end😊

Nuprime has just replied that they were still in a debugging phase for support of Amazon Music HD. Hans, does the search function work in the omnia receiver app for you? Mine always closes the app.

Hans, would you consider reviewing the Nuprime reference streamer, The Stream 9? On paper it looks impressive for the $1195 US price compared to competing Auralic or Lumin products at 2 to 3 times more.

If you live in the US give The Cable Company a call. They keep demo units in stock so they can send you one to try just like they do with cables. They also get as much feedback as they can from everything they lend out, and it goes in a database. When you talk to them they can pass on the information they gathered from other users. Its a very good system.

It appears he's based in the Netherlands. Many items available in the US simply aren't readily available here. I've been on a Schiit "please notify me" list for a while for products that are readily available in the US.

Thank you Hans for this review As a WiiM Mini owner, I can see that the Omnia app is very similar to the WiiM Home app. So, how would you compare the sound of the Omnia to the sound of a WiiM Mini streamer, in the same setup? Thank you

Haven’t watched one of your recent videos for a while and I must say that it really struck me and I had similar thoughts myself if this was from some illness, rather than hard work to try and lose weight. Anyway, at least you know people care enough to to ask, which can only be a good thing. I had hesitated asking (until I saw it already in the comments) as it’s really a private matter for you. As I said, they bought a ready to use streaming solution. The audio quality is defined by the audio engineers.
