This proves how good the GT-R nismo is. it runs 7:18 BTG in traffic as well. Anyway, this GT-R is very quick even weighting 1,730 kg which is 305 kg more than the Porsche. Although it has suspension modified but still a Premium Edition without that upgraded throttle response, AWD and VDC mapping updates like the Track Package. It probably running on 4 season tires too and this tells how great the chassis is. It doesn't look like a 1,730 kg car at all! Not sure what suspension mod it has but the stock one is fantastic with the asymmetric suspension. In this video, the GT-R seems as quick as Porsche through hairpins and sweepers, the Porsche didn't power over-steer but the Porsche seems quicker through low G turns because it weights less and lower which allows it to dive closer towards apex. Still, the GT-R performs better under braking, the Porsche clearly looses it from 6:01, the GT-R has much sophisticated 4 channels ABS, the active rear diff will stop working and allow the ABS to work it out while the ET-S remaining torque split to avoid wheel slip during downshift. Still very close run! Fantastic run for both!! Love this kind of videos!

What a great vid!! Great driving. Gt3 was right up the Gtr's ass the whole time. He could have passed him but I'm glad he didn't cuz it made for a better video. Great driving on both ends they did awesome. I really like the new GT3 it's so fast and the all wheel streering and the wider front axle makes it handle so much better than the previous GT3's. Everyone's pissed about it not being a Manuel but the PDK is just so fluid and fast that it's just so much better with the PDK. Nobody can shift that fasts so the PDK is just such an advantage over Manuel that it's just so fast.its truly a Track car for the street. Great job drivers thanx for the great video. Very much enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow what a video and I can't tell you how many laps I've watched of the Nurburgring, first of all well done but the best part is seeing two beautiful and very fast cars with a high skill level required to be driven on the limit by two very good drivers. That was a very fast lap and would have been faster if not for the traffic too!!

Your lines were better than the GTR's. Sometimes the GTR would miss the apex or not track out before entering the corner. He has 4WD traction and the power so he can still pull out of the corners fast. You really know your way around the ring! I noticed you even know which curbs to use and which not to use. Very nice lines! At the end of the day I'll take the GT3 over the GTR any day. It has a lighter, more involving chassis, and an engine I can appreciate more.

Stevorn Richards actually the person behind doesn't generally drive better than the person in front. Not sure what you're basing that off of. The tendency is actually to follow the line and braking points of the person in front of you, even if they are not taking the most optimal line. It's more challenging to be the rear car because you have to ignore the car in front and keep to your intended line. Plus you really need to be right behind the person in front of you to catch slipstream, and most of the time the car behind is getting dirty air from the front car, lessening the effectiveness of the aero (if the rear car has any).

surewin i was basing it off myself when i use to race with my buddies. i tend to drive more aggressive from the rear. trying to catch the rabbit is more of an adrenaline rush than leading. when I'm leading, i tend to just be focus on my lines and not over-doing it. chasing the person i be more aggressive, break later. just works for me

I'd say putting the super sport vs GTR's dunlop would be more even grip standpoint. R-compound vs street sport compound is quite easily seen in braking and cornering speed. N/A engine power vs Turbo is no comparison.
