Nurburgring Nordschleife BTG Lap Record? Caterham Academy

2019 spec Caterham Academy as used in the championship.
8:19 BTG in traffic with a very low top speed! As far as I know this is the quickest lap round the nordschleife in a standard caterham academy in championship legal spec. Happy to be proven wrong.
Lots of fun at DN22 (www.dnevents.com) this year mixing it with much quicker cars!! sometimes with 70mph differences in top speed in sections!

125bhp Ford Sigma Engine
Caterham 7777 (Academy control tyre for championship - hard compound road tyres)
No rear anti-roll bar
orange Front arb
open diff
5 speed mazda gearbox
full screen / doors
Basic (non-AP) master cylinder

Faire BTG en 8'20" avec une voiture de seulement 125 bhp c'est exceptionnel ! Bravo, je pense très peu de personnes ont réussi ce chrono avec si peu de puissance 👍👍👍👍

Hello 6” all round with 185/70/13 academy tyres which are quite hard and don’t have a lot of grip.
