@grandillusions4 жыл бұрын
All the big toy companies have stands, showing their existing range and also all the new items that they have. These fairs are aimed at companies, and allow them to start planning for next Christmas. There is going to be negotiation, the toys then have to be made, shipping container loads of stuff from China takes about 6 weeks on the water, and the shops want to have stuff by say September, in good time for Christmas. That is why several of these big fairs (including the New York Toy Fair) are held in February.

Fun fact : The now famous Rubiks Cube made his debut into a toy fair in Germany, at the time simple known as "Magic Cube", as Rubik itself intended. However, after it's success in the fair, companies wanted a less generic name for the cube, showing it as "Rubik's Cube" worldwide, putting the architect into the spotlight.

Tops are history. I have a quality spinner that will spin for 5 minutes. And if you blow here and there will never stop. Plus it has gears around it all attatched to fidget with. Plus after watching it for several minutes and stopping it, you get to see the table surface swirl bacwards. Its a finger or table top spinner that spins so long you get bored. But I always hated anything but battle tops anyway.
