I only like the old town square where I alcan get good polish food. beyond that area, I feel like leaving that city as fast as I could. there is not much to do at. night and there are better European cities a few hours away

If the only thing you are interested in is food, then you are right. I can't understand why people travel around the world and don't want to see something deeper, than food, girls and having fun. What for travelling then? They can eat also in homeland.... :D Pity.

First impression may be nice, but in fact horses having many health issues caused by work on the streets. Main problem is hoof degradation caused by salt gritting, during winter season, and feet-overheating during the summertime while tarmac is very hot, plus exhausts gases pollution on roads surfaces. Apart of that horses shoes the are kind of rubber high heels what makes walking awkward ( but apparently gives more grip). After couple of years being on duties there, horses have such a corroded hooves that they're no longer able to walk, so they're landing in slaughter house. One set of equipment such as bridles or harnesses are used oftenly for few horses, so they struggle in pain with badly fitted bit sometimes for all horses life.. 80 years ago and more( in age of common horses usage) was no tarmac, no salt gritting so horses could work and walk much, much longer. Horse was a lot more expensive and respected ...Today...Well...You can save the horse's feet, use your own and enjoy lovely walks around this amazing historical city or...have little ride around for this and that price...
