I've just started to get into blood bowl 2020 with Nurgle and this video is just what I needed! Beast of Nurgle has been an absolute nuisance for my opposing teams stopping those sneaky goblins on their tracks while they try to dodge or follow up blocks.

Yeah! Warriors are Bloaters, and the Beast of Nurgle is a Rotspawn!

My absolute f avorite team is Nurgle. Playing a grindy tempo game and going for the 1-0 is usually my aim. I've had a lot of look at mid-high TV, and I've never gone less than 50% wins even at low TV. It's the team I use when I'm playing a league against new players too. Nice to give them a leg up by playing someone more difficult to win with.

How would you alter these defenses with all 4 pestigors on the field (along with 4 warriors and the beast of Nurgle)?

If you’re running 4+4+Beast+2 Rotters, you’ll need to put either a Warrior or the Beast on the LoS, then move the Warriors into the vulnerable spots and protect the Pestis on defense. For offence not a lot changes - all your back-fielders and flankers become Pestis! And on to victory 🤩

Went my entire league season unbeaten with Nurgle Bloaters, didnt even concede a goal. Our league has , black orks, skaven, lizRdmen, elves, etc. this team has immense potential defensively, if played right. So or everyone who wanted to play Nurgle and were worried about getting smashed, that is not the case. You can do well.

Positively absurd rotters lost a stat point in 2020; -5k cost does not justify a loss of a stat point. I cannot think of any other unit that got nerfed even close to what Nurgle got in the new edition. The nerfs were completely unjustified and have made me strongly consider dumping the team. Also, the beast is best on the wings to shut down runners with tentacles

Rotters are faster zombies, so I'm not fussed about the change. Not really a nerf as you don't really want to dodge or handle the ball with them. They're fodder and foulers at best. Ideally, Dwarfs and Chaos should get the nerf treatment. 11 players with strength+general access incl. linemen is not good design

@@ryangriffiths5179 Block/Guard/Mighty Blow spam. Very cheap for Dwarfs and Chaos and keeps their CTV comparatively low. Nurgle, Orcs, Chrofs, Khemri and other bash teams don't have this luxury.

Decay is barely a negative under the new rules, which is actually a huge buff to Rotters. Decay used to make them explode any time their armor broke with 2 injury rolls. Now Decay is just a +1 on the casualty roll. So you get a S3, AV9+ player that is cheaper than a goblin. Seems like a great trade to me.

Might not be as bad, but limiting gutters to 9 movement is significant. Gimping passing and agility affects several teams. Necro lost and gained a character. Rat Ogre was changed. It's debatable if it's better or worse.
