I had to cut back on my hours to focus more on school. I’m working as an agency nurse to make the big bucks so I can work less hours cause hunny, I need this RN😩 I told myself to just focus on making enough just to pay my bills.

I've been an LPN for 5 years, but never worked in a hospital. That's common in my area. Do you have to have hospital experience before taking a contract/ travel/ per diem position? I work agency now so I know the training/ orientation wouldn't consist of much but I guess my actual question is, is it a requirement to have hospital experience?

Yes that want you to have worked in that setting for at least a year….🫶🏽🩺🤞🏽travelers only get 3 days training

It’s called team nursing…. An LPN is paired with an RN… the RN does all the am shift assessments and the LPN pass all the morning meds then after that they split…5/5 and they take of their own 5 the remainder of the shift.
