I would never leave Cali to work as a nurse anywhere else. Northern California pays more. I made over 200k with very little ot. Like 2/3 shifts a month.

A surgeon friend of mine said $200k salary in Northern California is not enough money for the high cost of living there
@thetruthsayer8347 Жыл бұрын
@@wisdomandlove1661 maybe your surgeon friend is not living a lifestyle of most Americans. 200k is by no means enough to live lavishly but it is enough for most Americans to pay their bills and still have some money left to save.

@@wisdomandlove1661Not all Northern California city’s have high rent. I live in a small Northern California town and a two bedroom is 1200. Everything here is low cost. The big city is two hours away. RN’s are making 50 starting here. The only thing is that it can get boring. Cheap living with high pay comes with a price of having nothing to do.

Hi! I’m from Northwest Indiana and just visited California as I’ve always wanted to live on the west coast. I fell in love with it and am already planning to move out there as soon as possible! I’m also a nurse and I’m in psych. If you don’t mind, about how much did it cost you to move from Indiana to Long Beach? I’m a single 23 year old female with 2 cats. I have my own place but don’t have a ton of stuff I’d have to take with me. Also, do the hospitals around you have psych units at all?

loved this! That nurse pay- honestly Cali nurse working environment seems #1. They also have the most rigorous CE license requirements and highest NCLEX pass rates of any state. New grad rn pay is going up to about 29 but w inflation/overall 20+ yr wage suppression in the field it still reflects about 25/hourly...Then expert experienced rns make.. max of 34-40 (40 is cap max base here)--- can't keep them. it's so dangerous for everyone. What is traffic like when you do drive- both inside rush hour and outside of it? (for ex Atlanta is legit 7am-8pm daily rush lmao, Charlotte like 730-930/4-7pm is rush). Citizens are happier in general in warmer climates to me. that's not a bad daycare FT price- more than in home where I am but priced same as a branded daycare center like Primrose. I am hoping to do partial part time care then schedule 1 weekend day work/with free family care to avoid FT care costs for at least 2 years or so. Wish caring for future gen and previous gen (aka nursing lol) was valued in society at all whatsoever. East coast near NYC houses seem priced a bit close to Cali house. do you have pet rent for your cats? walkable is amazing- once you get used to walking or biking it's so healthy and easy. how long did it take to get your reciprocal license processed?

Love this video. Nurses have all the education and resources they need to make a decent income. They can invest and make more too. Why would their income ever be something left up to others is my question after watching this. Could their potential be limited by references? Their environment? Haters? 🤷♀️ Its scary to think that someone with the qualifications and experience to be a nurse would not have a decent income. What could be some obvious reasons in your opinion? Environment? Male Haters? Systems in place? Jealous women?

The homeless in many states probably from Florida + other nursing schools/highway robbery. Please no one attend ICHS international college of health sciences in Boynton Beach (acen accredited). 90% student body are from California and unaware of battles & scheming that awaits. Spread The Word. 100s don't pass exit exam each semester and held there much longer than anticipated. "Contracts" change every semester. With that $$ you can move to any state's community college!! Where goes the money ICHS?? Barely a campus. Little clinical site availability. Students pay proctor most exam. On campus testing is another nightmare. Exams questions completely random and each is at least 30-45% grade. Staff are 'fired' and rehired rotating positions constantly. Staff death from overdoses and fired for sexual favor 'rumors'. Even 'rumor' of students suicides. (I guess death happens in hospitals too, it's just preparation) Unable to reach staff by phone, email, or in-person and so many LIES. Family&friend-run business racket. Somehow does DeSantis benefit?!

An option would be to find a nursing agency that will file the necessary paperworks for you to come over and practice. You probably also need to pass the Nclex before they hire you.

I love it here but theyre really sticking us with insane taxes and unreasonable substandard services. Growing up in Indiana and moving to California, i definitely wouldnt go back to Indiana. Thwres much better places to live that state is archaic and the air is heavy with racism and diabetes
