There's alot of them that shouldn't designate jobs to anybody. They're just not suited to supervise. Just because you have an RN at the end of your name doesn't mean you get to boss anybody

Nurses kept complaining of being short staffed but they do everything to not train new grads. Almost all the new grads left my unit as soon as orientation ended or right before. Older nurses forgot someone taught them too it’s despicable.

But as a family who’s got their foot in doors for a long time a lot of new noobs come in with this attitude that stink and need to be put back down in their place. Just bc you graduated doesn’t mean you really know. The people who’ve been there longer you should really listen to. They still have a lot to teach and ways to make things go a lot easier. Bullying isn’t ok but shit attitudes aren’t ok either

I completely agree. And it’s so hard to see so many young folk come in with this horrible attitude and not willing to listen or work together. it causes a chain reaction which leads to more hot heads than anything. A lot of people in this field who just shouldn’t be.
