You have the N 95 mask on wrong. The bottom strap on the mask goes around your neck and the upper strap on the mask goes around your head you. crisscrosscrisscrossed them and you’re not supposed to

This is like USSR propaganda. The N95 does not need to be fitted. It only needs to be fitted if you work in a hazardous environment. The N95 normally fits better than a surgical mask and offers protection from virus. If the surgical mask is so good then why don't the nurses that take care of covid patients only wear that? That's like saying if you need O2 don't use it because the mask has to be properly fitted.

The message in the video is to choose the right mask for the right reason. They are not the same. In the community, many people wear the n95 - and without having a fit test, there is a higher potential for ineffective filtration. I am not sure if you have had the pleasure of being fit test, and if you have, then what I shared will make more sense. In the fit test, we put on a mask and it feels like it fits, but the testing will reveal leaks that make the mask ineffective for the user. There are many types, and in our occupations, a properly fitted and tested mask is critical

Hi, does the 3M Particulate Respirator 9105 works the same as the usual N95 8210 against Covid-19 ?

I am not an expert on types of filters, just know that N95 are fit tested for medical and first responders to ensure we have a tight seal/

I love your video. Great tips. Research shows that cloth face masks and surgical face masks will not prevent getting infected with Covid 19. The size of the viral pathogens is so tiny that the filters and fabrics used in both masks will not filter Covid19 pathogens. Do you work in healthcare? If so I would hope your organization is providing you with the right equipment. The only time we use N95 is when we are aerosolizing treatment (cpr is an example)

@@NurseMinder I work in catering. My company works with local hospital to deliver food to infected with covid and also to old people and to those that can't go to the local market. They just gave me surgical masks - one per day and hand sanitiser that I must use before and after the delivery.
