R u nurse practitioner? And how much experience you have to get 300k salary?
@nelsonjr16
@nelsonjr16 2 ай бұрын
@mandeep4825 yes I'm a nurse practitioner. Only 2 years. I worked as a wound specialist for a company then found out I was paid below average. So I found another company that paid 35% more. Before quitting, my current boss decided to match me and paid 5% more for me to stay. Then we merged with a new company, and they gave me another 10% raise and promoted me to advanced care, which I can get even more bonuses for the procedures I perform.

@@nelsonjr16 thx well I m foreign students and I wanted to pursue nursing program in US and then go for nurse practitioners... Can you give any advice related to college and job ?
@nelsonjr16
@nelsonjr16 2 ай бұрын
@mandeep4825 it helps to know the doctor who will work with you. I didn't attend the top school for NP but worked hard to pass the exam. I went to a community college first to get my associates degree, nursing license and found a job as a regular nurse. I made little money compared to now, but I used that to pursue my bachelor's degree, which I used to get paid more. Then pursued my masters degree, and was able to pay it off myself. I have no debt. I was poor to begin with but just worked very hard to earn money as I moved up the ladder.

What does one sell to "bonus" as a nurse practitioner?

@@thetruthsayer8347 you bonus when you sell more or make more money for the company. So now explain how a nurse is bonusing unless she's prescribing and treating to get a bonus not help people.
@thetruthsayer8347
@thetruthsayer8347 Жыл бұрын
@@earthstar7534 that’s a lie. You can earn a bonus just by doing your job well or your company doing well financially. A bonus is simply a financial incentive to encourage a behavior. It is not necessarily tied to how much you sell. That said, a nurse is helping people by prescribing medication for treatment. Prescription for anything other than treatment will be illegal.
@earthstar7534

You have no idea about the bonus structure. Pharmacy sales is not it. Too many ways to be employed as an NP. You csn work for the hospital or for avorivste group or in your own practice. Bonuses come from number metrics met: number of patients seen( efficiency) notes completed timely for billing, diagnoses code entry, discharge disposition; low readmission rates of your patients. Positive patients surveys. Im not ssyingbits impossible that its based on writing scripts but that depends on what setting your employed in. At a not for profit teaching facility., the driver isn't meds. One, patients can fill those scripts any where and two we literally give medication to patients who are unable to afford their meds.
