Beautiful room. The main thing I loved about the floor bed was being able to lay with him if was sick and just the freedom of allowing him to explore without worry. This is beautiful but too crib like

Hey, I'm interested in doing this. What type of mattress do you have? I'm kinda concerned with suffocating. I'm planning on waiting until 6months to 12 month before transitioning to room. I like the idea of the baby is struggling to sleep I can lay a little while in bed with the then leaving

I wish I knew about Montessori when my daughter was first born! I also probably wouldnt have so many toys 😅 anyway, I love his room! It's so thoughtfully put together. Your videos always inspire me 💜

@@AmethystReynolds If you want a name for your baby you could call her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name or Christian if it is a boy and your baby may like one of those names how they are or so that your baby might make it shorter if it wanted to and it has great meanings and it is a nice long name for your baby to have and would be great to have good pronunciation skills and your baby would have more letters to write and playing around with more letters that is more fun and being creative. What do you think.

What is your experience with the floor bed? My husband is very skeptical, because he’s afraid that it is to effortful to lay down the baby (because of the high of the bed). Same thing by changing the diaper. Do you may have an advice?

Hi there! We always keep the baby with us for the first 3 months in a bassinet near our bed so that it’s easier on us to wake all through the night. We are very mindful of healthy sleep habits from the start so usually by 2-3 months old, our babies have started sleeping longer stretches and eventually through the the night entirely so that’s when we switch to the floor bed in their room. It has worked amazing with each baby! My husband is actually a bigger advocate for a floor bed right away than I am. He is huge believer in the idea and at first he was a little iffy. Our kids have done better in a bigger floor bed than in a crib/bassinet. It’s not any big effort to put them in the floor bed, I found it harder to put the baby in a high crib with my first. Way easier in the floor bed. We just change the baby on the floor using a mat and the changing caddy being easily accessible to pull out of the closet. Personally, I feel like this is really manageable and with my first, we needed to change on the floor like 5 months in anyways because he started wanting to roll off the changing table and just squirm around during changes. It’s safer on the floor when they get wiggly. You can totally have a changing table in there still, just secure it if possible! We just found that our kids were easy to change on the floor and the changing tables we had didn’t seem to be getting much use to keep them. I hope all of this helped!
