Evidence drives nursing practice...not lies, not assumptions. Many associated with nursing and nurses struggle in this area. Videos like this can definitely help them.

This is the best explanation I have heard about evidence-based practice and how to implement it in nursing! Excellent!

I cannot describe how thankful I am for this work. The course given to us was monotone and blend and barf worthy. I was 4 min in and it resumed what we had in 3 sessions

This is a good stuff. This talk makes “research” easy to understand and has broken all the myths that research is so hard and it is only for the genius.

There's a very fine line between patient's rights and beneficial treatment. The reason it takes 15-20 years for evidence to translate into practice is patient understanding (or lack thereof). Patient autonomy can help and it can hinder. This is an example of the latter.

Has anyone actually used the JBI manual builder? What was your experience with that? Considering suggesting this to our unit educator to help update our policy’s and procedures.

Evidenced based practice does improve outcomes. It saves patients lives. It could be a nurse in need of healthcare. I would like to know that my care is based on evidence and not physician preferance . Research and knowledge could save my life
