This review is clutch seeing as how I've been eyeing this tab for over a month. Seeing as how I didn't have my own bow yet and have been using club equipment I've been putting it off. That all changed yesterday! Finally have my bow and set up. Purchasing lots of equipment next week, thanks for confirming my decision in this tab.

This tab definitely has a lot of nice features, I think I might buy one if I decide to go for a more expensive tab. Thanks for the review sensei!

An "easier" tab to shoot with, eh? I noticed that the leather extends past your fingers. I've been advised by old timers to trim back the leather to my finger length, to minimize the real estate that the string has to travel over. This reduces string friction and hence increases arrow speed. Your thoughts?
@NUSensei
@NUSensei 9 жыл бұрын
Sue Palsbo This is sound advice. The leather can get in the way if it's too long, and I have done it for one of my tabs.

Nice tab. The pinky rest helped me focus on keeping pressure on my index finger ...... I tend to hold the string with my middle finger if I don't focus on my index finger. The problem goes away after I'm warmed up with a few shots.

i got this tab, loving it so far but the strap is so cheaply made which makes my middle finger itchy because it scratches it to the spacer but it is easily solved by moving the strap under the spacer and going around your middle and index finger like KSL thats the only issue so far, i'm loving the ledge and the palm ring so far, it makes it so much comfortable, pinky rest is quite awkward for me thanks for recommending this

Is the tension in the back of the hand even all that important to have in the first place? I've noticed that when drawing with my hands instead of a release aid my entire hand is relaxed. The only place that I can even feel tension at all is my fingers.

Hi NUSensei, how would you rate the W&W tab in comparison with the Fivics Saker one? Namely in the shape of the palm plate and the qualities of the (Cordovan(?)) leather.
@NUSensei
@NUSensei 9 жыл бұрын
logpos Unfortunately I don't have a Fivics Saker to compare it to. Generally speaking though, the W&W tab is probably less intrusive into the hand, and the cordovan presents a very smooth face.

Hi NUSensei, I have a quick question regarding finger tab size. I've been using an Angel medium size finger tab for quite some time and I switched over to a small size saker 2. I find that whenever I anchor, the metal plate on the finger tab (not the anchor ledge) interferes with my anchor and cannot anchor properly. This problem was not present when using the angel only Fivics. is it a size problem?
@NUSensei
@NUSensei 9 жыл бұрын
+lacia lola This is likely a size problem. The plate is shaped different based on the size, though this depends on exactly how it interferes with your anchor. It may be that design of the tab makes it difficult for you.

I currently have a ksl gold brass, how do you think this would be as a backup tab?
@NUSensei
@NUSensei 9 жыл бұрын
Hayden Martin This would be an unusual choice as a backup. The cost and customisation would better suit this as a primary tab. It will feel quite unusual until you use it for a while. If you get this, your KSL Gold may become your backup.

NUSensei Hey, this is off the topic of finger tabs but I'm thinking of buying a Win&Win Inno CXT Riser and was wondering if you new if the Limb Fittings on it where universal or if only Win&Win limbs fit it?. I was looking at some Hoyt risers and they only take Hoyt limbs. I'm looking to buy it online due to it been a special order riser also there's no shop near me and the in-store price where I'm getting it from is more expensive than the online price. Kind regards :)
@NUSensei
@NUSensei 9 жыл бұрын
Me, My Bow And I The Inno CXT uses ILF limbs. Hoyt can also use ILF limbs, but only if you by the Grand Prix-named bows. The Hoyt Formula bows are not ILF.

@wayne2wax
@wayne2wax 5 жыл бұрын
+MrPlanetmarz it's now 2018, and earlier this week I ordered the FIVICS POLITE 3-finger TAB in LeftHAND, for myself. Sadly it seems that the FIVICS POLITE Tabs are now discontinued. I bought it at a greatly reduced price from L.A.S., plus the last 3 of REPLACEMENT spare-parts FACEs. I guess this spells the end to ANY SUCH REVIEW coming . . .

Hi NUSensei, thank you for another video! I usually place my thumb on top of the ledge ( set in the lowest position so the top of my finger stays inline with the top of the finger tab ) is this right? or am I putting some torque where I shouldn't ( sometimes I put some pressure on the thumb when I'm getting tired ), it feels funny for me to leave the thumb without any support. Let me know what you think! ( I know you dont like the ledge on tabs! ) Thanks!
@NUSensei
@NUSensei 9 жыл бұрын
***** That would be an unusual use of the ledge. There shouldn't be any need to rest the thumb on the ledge.

***** You are not the only one, I am also doing the same thing...putting my thumb on top of the ledge and place the thumb under my jaw bone. I agree to NUSensei that it was the weird feeling that drove me to put my thumb over it. Now I am sort of used to this form and I feel it works for me...so can I still do that or should I correct it before I am turning it into a bad habit?

I do that too. I prefer the feel of my thumb against my jaw, and this style keeps everything aligned. It also stops the ripping out of a few beard hairs, which I experienced occasionally before lowering it.

see like this and most things archery most things feel like im "leveling up" even watching most of your vids its essentially the same thing.. why couldnt i just get one size fits all and i can have it even when i get better? good equipment is good right? i can understand a non biased viewpoint but come on. i can see this being an amazing tab for EVERYONE right out of the box because of how much customization you get from it. this should be a no questions ask buy tbh well, as long as you got the 100 bucks to spend on it lol. thing is though it would be WORTH IT. but really? is it? i dont own one but looking at my other options like the KSL you compared it to and thats spossed to be a best in the world tab heavy but well, works. has no customization though i think i may get one of these but the thing is , weight. between my choices i want the KSL super leather brass heavy BEAST of a tab or this one. is there a heavy tab that has all these options? you mentioned in another vid the weight of one tab increases stability through your shot. is it really that significant if someone gets a lighter tab? or if there was a way to add weight to a tab like this that would be great as well.. i think i want a heavier tab

I've got a couple of other tabs on standby to review. There are some things that archers won't like about the EZR despite its functionality, so it's hard to say that this is the ONE tab for everyone.
@Stunseed
@Stunseed 7 жыл бұрын
i enjoy the flexibility of it. not sure what people wouldnt like or what people do. but because of how you can add or remove pieces as you wish it seems pretty cool and its quaity product.. im looking for an upgrade from my crappy bateman just a piece of leather with a spacer lol. there isnt ONE tab for everyone sure why not. but to be able to see if you find something comfortable? maybe this is it , considering everything else needs maintenance like missing screws. or buying extra parts.

Jesus christ why is it so expensive? I could probably design it send it to a machine shop and do the leather work myself for probably half the price. Actually probably less than half since I have access to the cnc milling machine at my school so i could cut out the middle man and just pay for the materials but I'm legit about to get a quote to see how much it would cost to machine something like that cause it should not be that expensive
@xvaldez3284
@xvaldez3284 6 жыл бұрын
Update I got a quote from a US based machine shop and it'll be around $186.13 for a single unit but keep in mind I didn't put much effort into designing it so a lot of the holes and dimensions are arbitrary sizes which need to be cnc machined instead of drilled so that'll drive up the cost and there is also no tolerance on it. Another consideration is US based machine shops are typically much more expensive than chinese ones but it seems it'll take between 3-5 buisiness days for them to get back to me but so far it looks like it'll definitely be cheaper to just make one. I mean I'm not gonna make one but I just wanna point out how outrageously over priced it is

Please look at what you just wrote from the side. You are saying that people should spend a month or more learning how to design a tab, find someone who can make it (bear in mind it will cost lots because a person will need one tab not a bulk) then hope that it works just to save some odd 40-50 dollars?
