Anatomy and Biology of a Primarch (Warhammer 40K)

The primarchs were genetically-engineered superhuman "sons" of the Emperor of Mankind. Created in the late 30th Millennium, they were scattered immediately after their creation and were all reclaimed during the great crusade, all except for two, they were designed to be immortal, powerful, and exceptional in various aspects. Meant to lead the Emperor's Great Crusade, they were perfect generals, warriors, and statesmen. Each primarch embodied a unique aspect of war and possessed extraordinary abilities. They were intended to reunite humanity under the Emperor's rule, bringing enlightenment and unity to the galaxy as His commanders and leaders. They are revered as legendary figures, embodying both the hopes and flaws of humanity, and their legacy continues to impact the ongoing conflicts within the grim darkness of the 41st millennium. They also embody the pinnacle of genetic engineering with their physical attributes, combined with their strategic genius, leadership skills, and unique abilities, make them the most formidable forces on the battlefield.

A lot of this information is regarding space marines not primarchs. Contrary to this video Primarchs do not possess additional organs, but are more similar to custodes in that their normal organs are just way better. Its more appropriate to think of the primarchs like enhanced versions of custodes rather than space marines.

I believe primarchs have the extra organs, that's where the geneseed come from. They at least have two hearts, so it's plausible to infer they also have the original version of the other geneseed upgrades that astartes get.

Custodes use black carapace. The moment you see holes on someone's torso, it's a black carapace installation. The Primarchs use black carapace as well, and guilliman had a modified version to keep him alive.

@@josephboustany4852 I understood your point. It is extremely difficult to say what is a *generic* primach strength and weakness since ALL of them have a different strength and weakness. Sanguinius combat ability for ourank than those of Guillaman but Sanguinius won't be able to run an empire the way that Guillaman does. My absoutle favorite example to demonstrate the raw strength of a Primach is Guillaman back handed a Khorn berserker in terminate armor as if it was nothing. Keep in mind it was when he JUST woke up from his 10k year nap and he had NO IDEA what was happening around him. Another strength of a Primach which this video doesn't cover is their aura. Simply having them in the field EVERYONE KNOWS who they are. They can feel their presence. It is especially true for the Primach own SM legions. The Lion for example just needs to look into his son's eyes and they know INSTANTLY what they need to do without saying a word. Here are two example of this instance. Lion appears before Angron to fight him and saved the DA grandmaster Azreal. In the mist of fighting Agron the Lion looks for a brief moement into Azreal eyes and Azreal instantly knew what was the order that his Father wanted which was to evacuate the DA. Keep in mind that Azreal NEVER met the Lion and it was the VERY first time he has ever encounter him. Azreal realize who he was because that what his Geneseed was telling him. Another example is a DA chaplain who was interrogating a Fallen. The Lion shows up behind him and he just put his hands on his shoulder. The chaplain instantly knew that this was the Lion AND the Lion was telling him to standback. Once again there was NO WORD that was exchange. This is the kind of strength that a Primach has.

that "all primarchs were more or less perpetuals" is a fun, absurd and probably newer retcon, shamelessly connected with the return of El'Jonson, I guess. Originally all of them wеre tough and tougher than daemonized version of selves, but very mortal if hit with enough force. Kurze survived stabs, shrapnel and bloodloss, but gone in one hit when decapitated. Horus, Guilliman, Fulgrim, Angron, Mortarion were maimed into the comatose deathdoor by toxins, gunshots, blades and sorcery several times. Manus, Omegon, Sanguinius were killed by powersword, chainsaw and lightning claw in their last duel fights. Angron was grafted with implants which killed him slowly if untouched and likely killed him momentally if removed (seems true cause even immortal demon angron was banished when Sanguinius ripped out his electric braids). all but Vulkan, who was for some vague reason made Jason Voorhees primarch by Dan Abnett.

I.E. physical manifestation bearing the essence can be destroyed and banished, but demon persists as a concept, an idea, and can be brought forth anew when the stars will collide and preparations will be made. Until then Daemon will live in timeless and formless warp.
