May I say something about your fouettés? I was a classical dancer for 17 years. Keep your turnout with both legs. When you’re doing them and you are tired I see your compensating and turning in. Keep that turnout, shoulders down and whip your shoulders and head more to get your body to follow while you are rotating that leg. It will help you keep your momentum. Try to keep your movement upward instead of downward. When we are tired we tend to think of the down being sort of a break or breather. Instead make the up the breather. Omgosh idk if that makes sense but I’ve been there many times and your focus can’t be down. It has to be in the up motion. I hope this makes sense 😘

Love the comments on specialized care for OCD. I'm a psychologist, but you're right that sometimes folks need to go to specialized care and would benefit from seeing a specialist. NOCD is a great option, but there are also plenty of folks in private practice who do ERP in person!

OMG my clinical psych class JUST talked about this. People with OCD often go YEARS without receiving treatment bc so many mental health professionals aren't informed about the specific treatment that it requires. So people do not get referred to specialists, and instead bounce around without any help. On top of that, the longer that OCD goes untreated, the worse it gets.

3:10 Just wanna help with the dancing with the stars lift thingy. Keep your eyes on the floor until the very last moment (just like one would do when doing a walkover) the moment you lift your head the hips start falling (and you with them). Anyway I hope it helps 🫶🏻
