Don was and is very cool, but the true reason Miami Vice ended was probably because of money. It's no secret the budget was cut in season 5. I figure either the cast was unhappy about the budget being cut or NBC pulled the plug because of the declining popularity.

Can you believe he said he’s the wrong nationality to play Jane’s bond ???????look at old photos of him he was a pretty boy after we pretty much got hired because the American, casting directors thought he was attractive! I just tried to search a brilliant comic named Don Johnson no one’s heard of in vegas …and came across this (can’t find that comic genius) but this no talent! Who I guess putting on a British accent, it was way too much skill for his level of mastery…of the art
