Good to see you post another video on 1 year anniversairy of the day. Be safe & work with what you got. Take a minute each day, & savor, still being able to work outside in the woods. I am 74 and only worked inside on a few temporary jobs, the rest was outside Carpentering, River Guiding-- I combined the two & built Mckenzie Drift boats, one of which I rowed about 12,000 river miles with on Rogue-Middle Fk Salmon-McKenzie-Willamette, and a few other North West rivers, I would do it the same way all over again. Savor each day Pete, & thank your lucky stars your still able to be outside & logging.

Glad you recovered! Been a weird year for me so I didn't even know about it till just before Helene came through. I bout got killed in 01' myself. 33 days in traction. Near 6 months to walk again. It changes your outlook on life for sure. You will get to where you cut everything with that head and you will be able to trim them near clean as a chainsaw. I would cut trees all the time that 8 foot chokers won't come close to reaching around. It's a big chunk of change but if you ever have the extra capitol, single grouser pads are life changing. I went from 32" triples to 24" singles. It was like a different machine. Steering is so much better too. Needed new u/c anyway. I have looked at jobs after goingvto singles and thought, well I will have to hand cut half of this. And then end up cutting it all with machine. Added 8,000 pounds of steel making the forestry protection. Helped it stay on the ground a lot on steep slopes. Especially when sticking that 3550 way out there and holding a big tree too!
