Were they having problems with their setworks? That wasted pass on every face turn is a production killer. The Sawyer is doing a great job sawing for max grade potential.

There is that much stress in the logs he was cutting you could see the cant Boewing as he would cut, that extra pass was to make sure that everything was squared up

Has a 2 sided band been tried fellers where he could cut both ways..? Or am I crazy….one of the faster ones I’ve seen but thought if it cut both ways be twice as fast

This Set up doesn’t accommodate a two sided band but we did tour a mill that had one and it was impressive
