NUX 63 Diamond. A very inspirational Vox in a Box. NUX does it again!

Hey all
My first play of the NUX 63 DIamond. Their new Vox in a box pedal. In short its great.
The 63 Diamond is NUX's new '63 AC30 captured in a pedal that you can use to colour the clean channel of your amplifier to change the characteristic of that sound to be vox flavoured. In my estimation this is not for direct recording in place of an amp. It's not an amp modeller but more a distortion / EQ pedal you use to change the sound of your amp to a clean or cranked Vox and all the sounds between.
It does this very well indeed.
I particularly like the inclusion of the normal bright switch. THe Normal channel on an AC30 is overlooked a lot and I really liek that sound with a bright guitar. I demo the 63 Diamond using a tele with single coils and a tele with humbuckers and the bright switch gives me a lot of options with these guitars.
It has controls for Volume and Master to control the gain and a cut knob to contol the high end. Very useable.
Kudos to NUX. This an outstanding VOX experience in a very small easy to use pedal.

I once played a 65 AC30 at a gig in Uganda using the thinline tele from this video. Is was just glorious…. I blew it up though!! 😬

Being a pretty big Vox fan, I appreciate you covering this! You always write cool intro songs for the pedals you cover. I wasn't as pleased with the Marshall one they made (sounded cool but had WAY too much gain). This pedal seems like it'll be a lot more usable for me. So glad that, even if the controls are pretty simplified, they kept the all-important Tone Cut control.

Regards the Brian May thing, I’d be very grateful for the guitar and pedal but I wouldn’t k ow what to do with them!! I deeply admire queen as songwriters and as a band in general but it’s not really my thing. I’d be more into what Peter Buck or the edge did with the AC30
