The tone is there but the part lacking is the power section...I am sure more tweaking would get it closer ..kind of like a AXFX or Kemper gets close but that power section just doesn't always come through.....but.....your reviews are always heads above other people's channel...that alone makes tuning in worth it...thanks Pete , have a great rest of the day

Better camera angle, shows your settings on the pedal, would be ULTRA AWESOME if you could do a close-up camera in like an upper corner window of the screen so we can really see what settings/switches... I'm dreaming. Your vids are already the best, and you get such great tones, while your playing is truly stellar. I am constantly trying to slow down your licks to totally ape them, love your playing and writing. You know I am always waiting for you to get to those Sinverteks. I own the 3 N5/N5+'s and the Scream Honey, great stuff by Wu! Thanks for another great vid!
@frankgreco2 жыл бұрын
Nice sounds, and it's a real preamp too. It is a real cut above the N5 series. I bet Simon McBride had some input into its sound. Totally agree with you that it should be in a slightly bigger enclosure with a more intuitive user interface.

'You can dial it in to where you think it's exact and then you come back and listen to it the next day and you're like "oh I'm so far off".' You really feel our pain lol. Super cool pedal! Sounds really close to me in all instances, certainly close enough, and I'm listening on decent speakers.
@kraM1t2 жыл бұрын
Why does this happen, one day I'm loving the tone and I come back to it and it sounds poo
@jsullivan21122 жыл бұрын
@@kraM1t Usually ear fatigue. Spend too long tweaking something, especially at higher volumes and your ears fatigue and you start to temporarily lose your high end. So then you compensate by adding more. More than 20 minutes will do it. Another main reason is that you can quickly lose your point of reference or objectivity.

After hearing it on the live show Sunday, I preordered one. I love great MIAB pedals. Pete - it would be a nice test of the Blackstar Amped 1 if you ran the MGAT-1 into it for the preamp and switched up some tube emulations plus see if the tube emulations on the Amped 1 actually add some saturation and compression to the MGAT-1 emulations to get that cranked Marshall sound with power tubes working hard.
