NUX Amp Academy Tutorial EP2 | Editor Software

With each video, I'm realizing what a fully featured device the Amp Academy truly is, and how versatile it can be across an array of live and studio settings. The user interface looks easy to navigate, and yet the feature set is comprehensive. These vids are quite persuasive; buying an Amp Academy looks like a great way to provide my pedal board with abevy of great sounding amps, cabs, and effects!

Seems like a great product! BUT; the quality of this vid do not match the quality level of NUX's products - pitty. The narrator voice is mumbling at low volume and bad quality while the music is at really high volume. Should be easy to fix with some level adjustment and a better mic for the speaking voice.

Please add saving of block parameters with each scene. As for now the scenes are quite useless for just enabling/disabling blocks. They should at least offer saving individual gain/reverb levels for each scene. Would be nice to have that feature in the next firmware!

hey i got question, i would appreciate if you could help. I buy NUX Amp Academy like 4 month ago and its good, but today when i tried to connect to my PC using USB-C input and it says "Disconnected" on the Interface of NUX Amp App. I tried to Factory Reset and Update the Firmware but still no change, its still "Dissconeted". Any suggest? I really appriciate if you could help

Hi there! I recently bought AA and I updated the firmware yesterday to the 4.0. I am using iOs App (iPad Air) to tweak some parameters and amps. All works smoothly except for the SAVE button. For some reason, I am not able to save the preset to the pedal. If I replace the current Amp with a new one (let's say Princetone. It sounds great. Good job guys) and I press SAVE nothing happens and I keep reading *Cali Crunch [current]* in the list. Am I missing something? Thank you for your help!

Can you import 3 clean amps into channel B. So you have cleanish amps on both A and B channels?

Hi. Could you explain hat the sticky scenes is for? (new version) I was wondering I make an adjustment to the eq on the pedal in the moment for example on a gig, then I switch scenes if there was a way that the adjustment I made stays with the scene switch. I though sticky scene might be this but it seems not. Many thanks

HELP!!!!!! Just purchased the Amp Academy as the start of a backup pedalboard. For the life of me, I cannot get the software to connect to the computer. I have tried several cables with no success. I have tried several boot-up sequences with no success. The unit itself really sounds great but I really need to be able to access the software editor. I reached out to Nux and their response was incredibly questionable (they said I need to download the firmware update but how can I do that if the computer does not recognize the unit). I reached out to American Musical Supply twice with no response. I really don't want to send the unit back because I really do like it. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

How do you save a preset I couldn’t find anything in the manual about it. I have been clicking what appears to be save above the import and export boxes, upper right of screen, but it doesn’t appear to be saving

Very helpful this video, man. Thanks a lot. Could you make a video showing how to automate patches for it in reaper? I'm curious if I could use it with automated switches for playing live going thru a daw and then in a mixing desk, to avoid the need to stomp the pedal for the changes. I coudn't find any video other than a guy doing it in logic pro, but since is not the same plataform that I use, I think something is still missing for me to be able to use this feature. Also, I think he was using only the amps. I'm not certain if one could use a scene with all the efects via midi.

For some reason the Di. is set very hot, I recommend that you lower it at least 6 db. - 9 in fine! FWIW
