I was on the fence about buying this or a Pod Go until I watched this video. The MG30 has more than a few usable presets right out of the box which is unusual for a modeler.

I'm in te same situation, I think I will buy the Nux mg 30, I thought a lot between the pod go and the Nux, and my main reason to buy the pod go was the snapshots, but I have discovered that Nux offers the same option on the mg 30, also I'm a bedroom player so I guess it's more suitable for me, how good is the Nux?

I liked all the presets so much, that i can't imagine doing much other then minor tweaks if that would improve my experience. The benefit of Modelers, you don't have to document every tone or setup on Amps.. I love to go back to old modelers and find tones i liked 10 years ago, some of them very bad as at the time, modelers wasn't good but it was also new to me, no matter what i tried to do with it, the sound was always good sounding, but it lacked the balls which Amps had at the time and modelers didn't, but i am giving the Nux MG 30 a chance, especially now that my flexibility of a studio isn't entirely there, so a couch, a PC and a Modeler is more then enough to keep me going, but the sound must have balls.

Greetings Emir. I don't know if you could clarify the following. This multi-effects unit has 3 footswitches. The first two select the banks of presets. Once inside a bank, how do you access the 4 presets A,B,C and D? I imagine that whatever the solution, it will not be possible to jump from one to another but to do it in an orderly and consecutive way. On the other hand, is it possible to assign the letters of presets B and C, for example to the 2-button auxiliary pedal that comes with the pedalboard? Thank you very much and greetings.

What amazing trems are you using? Great demo! I recently got the Pod Go, and most of the preset sounds are bad. I would never use them unless I tweaked the heck out or them. Which I don't understand.since there tech is suppose to be like the helix, but the Helix LT has fantastic presets.. But these presets you demoed are very good. I mean half the ones you played, I wouldn't have to tweak at all. Please let me know the trems on both guitars. I don't want a locking one because I'd like to do some different tunings. I'm subscribing now. Thanks so much.

NUX should provide an explanation of the names of the patches. I understand some of them (May, GaryMoore etc.) but for example who is KitTang ? Also a song matching tool would be welcome (for example if I want to play ZZ Top - Got me under pressure: which patch do I use?)
@EmirBucio Жыл бұрын
That's not how it works. Nux asked different KZbin guitarists around the world to make what they thought were the best sounds from the unit and put them all in the factory preset list. If you're looking for a specific tone, you'd better look for it or wait for a KZbinr to make a specific video about that artist.
