Trunks goes back in time->Black follows-> Goku fights Zamasu->Zamasu becomes bitter towards goku and mortals->kills Gowasu->uses the super dragon balls to become Goku Black-> goes to future timeline-> teams up with Future Zamasu-> battles trunks for a year->trunks goes back in time.

1. Goku Black/Zamasu really is just the DB version of Reverse Flash. He took his one loss against Goku, said: "I can't let this disrespect *stand!* " and turned it into this incomprehensible vendetta spanning timelines and multiverses. 2. Credit where its due to Gowasu, he *was* trying to be a good teacher to Zamasu. He gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried to make him see that nurturing and creating is harder, but more worthwhile than just destroying things he didn't like. Now, that's not to say he did a *good* job, as it should have been obvious that he needed a *much firmer* approach to Zamasu when he started casually putting genocide on the table as a solution. 3. The reason Fused Zamasu started mutating is because half of his body is immortal and the other isn't. The two/one(???) were so obsessed with their plan that they didn't even consider what fusing a mortal and immortal body with the potara would do to their fusion.

The multiple Zamasus only exist because of the time travel, which creates whole new sets of universes, but there are only so many timelines that can exist in the omniverse of Dragon Ball at once, so that is limited. That said, *Nux* , you do have a point that there are, according to official material, multiple other timelines that presumably have their own Zamasus that apparently Goku Black ignored, which could've bumped up their numbers to...I think seven or even higher depending on things. Massive missed opportunity honestly, for Zamasu.

Now that I think about it, a lot of the Z-Fighters have taken damage from being shot. Goku got shot in Resurrection F, Krillin got shot and wounded while playing policeman, and the resistance tried to snipe Black with a bullet that they claimed could kill him. Btw, the time loop thing actually does make sense, the problem is your looking at it rick and morty style, or marvel style... when its more of a back to the future style or dc style (i might be wrong about dc). Its a multiverse because there are multiple universes, not infinite universes. In dragonball there are 12 universes, and i would describe the kai universe that all those are in as its own universe, since it has its own physical locations unlike marvel, where if you enter the multiverse, its just a representation of in between all the universes. But the goku black time loop is really only 2, as in since zamasu has a counterpart in the other 11 universes besides his own, they are not other versions of him, but due to trunks going back in time, there are two versions of that universe, since the changes he made didnt change his timeline, its a seperate timeline, like the chart doc draws in back to the future, in practice its different because in order for doc and marty to go back, they are still bound by the timeline they are in so they have to go back to the split and then change back the changes... even though doc explains it as a seperate timeline... and in the other movie the changes happen in real time but somehow Dont change the time travelers memories (idk its weird), in dragon ball its completely seperate. However the time ring thing is weird along with trunks going to the main timeline again... cuz if the trunks that was in the android saga went back in time, the time should still be relative to where he is, so if he makes changes and then goes back to the future, he should be going back to the future of the timeline that includes the changes he made, therefore he would get there and never even know that his timeline still exists without him, but for arguments sake, lets say he has a return home button and isnt just typing in the date he left, if he then goes back in time, he'd be going back in time from his time, therefore not the time where the changes were made... but once this stupid trunks paradox has been created, the 2 and only 2 zamasu's makes sense... the rest doesnt though lol. Oh and the reason the time ring thing is weird is because it would imply that there are 3 timelines, one of them just didnt matter due to the time ring? Somehow? And we watched the 2nd (future trunks timeline) get erased by zeno. Which means the time ring protected him from the past changes, but as trunks showed us, changing the past doesn't effect the present because it physically exists already, so the time ring wasnt necessary, unless there is something different about the way whis time jumps.

Can someone explain to me why Nux thinks that Zamasu is a bad villain? I personally love the character as he perfectly represents racist fanatics that will say and do anything to destroy their target.

I’m not sure about Nux, but the reason why Zamasu is one of my least favorite villains and characters in general is because his motivations weren’t presented well and his road to villainy felt too rushed. Sure he didn’t like mortals in the beginning, but apparently the last straw for him was him losing against a mortal in a sparring match, bruising his ego and than when the writers try to make the audience see Zamasu’s point of view, it is about a civilization that is barely in its infant stage of progression, and apparently that was last, last straw and I’m like “wait, that was it?!” His motivations for going out of his way to murder his own teacher in order to commit multiversal genocide against mortals comes across petty and childish. Plus his personality and constant “mortals this, gods that” every five minutes(I knows it’s not five minutes literally, I just using hyperbole) can be a big turn off and I just wanted to stop talking. I don’t think he is a complex or good written villain, I think he is just childish and petty. This is my personal opinion though, and I respect whatever feelings you have about Zamasu as a villain.

Not to mention he already sees the flaws in mortals using humanity as the backbone of his reasoning, plus yk trunks fw time again and again, and again anytime he has a problem he can’t handle

@@dreamon7295 Beerus maybe, but not all gods were like that. In the manga, Geene one the Gods of Destruction was relieved that his universe wasn’t chosen for the T.O.P. and noted that he did intact do his job properly, which can be applied to all the other gods that were safe from potential erasure. You can apply that in the anime as well since his universe was safe in that version. Zamasu just wanted to make sure that the gods did not get in his way.

Well you have to remember that the First Time that Trunks went back to the Past, he literally created a splintered timeline. Splintered Timelines aren't Supposed to Happen in the Dragonball Multiverse... that's why Zeno destroyed it when he found out about it... This is also why there's Now 2 Zeno's.... because split timelines make 2 of Everything, including Zeno and the Multiverse... >.>
