The best way i have heard bluey described is it is a show show for children and people with children in their lives. It teaches amazing values to children, it is also an amazing way for adults to learn to interact with their children in a healthy mature way. It is actually a disgustingly amazing show

It's also got surprisingly good consistency and world building, you will literally catch events from other episodes occasionally happening in the background of another character point by of view in an entirely different episode. It makes it much more bearable as background noise while your kids watching cause you can search for connections and curl poofy around the main story.

I feel you. But I have been granted the chance from my wife to pursue my education instead of being the breadwinner which has opened me up to the stay at home dad roll while I prepare for studies and whatnot. I felt like you, it's hard to be the inactive parent while supporting the family. Know that one day your girls will understand how hard you worked, and how much you gave, to ensure they had lives full of love. The time lost with them is painful when thinking about it, I know.. but the silver lining in knowing they know you love them so much, that you risk your well being, mentally and physically, to provide wonderful lives, is fulfilling and powerful. You're loved man, keep being an awesome Dad!

You can't be a perfect parent 24/7. It's physically impossible. And what's more, even if you could, they're not gonna remember all of it. Just do the best you can, and when you can, take the time to play with them or teach them how to ride a bike or somethin. As a former child, I can tell you that they'll remember the highlights of how they were raised.

I promise you, as a parent myself now, I realize my dad worked long, hard, 60-hour workweeks to bring my family from a crappy 2-bed 1-bath trailer out in BFE to a cushy 4-bed 2-bath in a great neighbourhood, the shoes we wanted, nice restaurants, and hobbies galore. The fact that he worked his butt off & came straight home & still had enough energy to give a crap fills me with awe & respect. I had ro go through a bratty teenage phase first, but your kids will love you for giving everything you can to give them everything they need & more. A Real Man for a dad is worth more than diamonds. I'd cut anyone for looking at my dad side-eyed. Can't nobody tell me nothing.

6:36 That's even a different episode than the one that used to be Number 8. A DIFFERENT EPISODE. At least TWO OF THEM have cracked the TOP TWENTY. This show is absolutely amazing. 14:55 The creator has recently confirmed that Chilli (the mom) indeed had a miscarriage in the past, and this episode was about her passing her coping method down to her kids. There were actually several hints towards it in other episodes, too (for example, in one episode, in a dream sequence, Bluey and Bingo hatch out of Venus and Earth respectively, while Mercury remains unhatched). 28:13 Since this video's publication, those episodes (plus more that aired after) have been brought to Disney+, and are (to my knowledge) unaltered, meaning it most definitely _was_ a licensing thing. Also, James misspoke earlier; it's not the Argentinian that no longer says where they're from, but rather the Frenchman _accompanying_ her (instead clarifying "We're backpackers!").
@IamCoalfoot
@IamCoalfoot 4 ай бұрын
Somehow, that makes Chilli's anxiety over being a good (bad) mom all the more... chilling? stressful? believable? She lost her first chance to sheer bad luck, in a way that makes a lot of women who experience it feel like it was somehow her fault; it makes sense she's filled with anxiety at all stages thereafter.

I've been waiting for Nux to do a Bluey reaction. He is over-analysing everything and I fricking love it because he actually pays attention instead of silently watching the thing and calling it a day. I've been following his Adventure Time reactions and get delighted when he remembers things from the first season or so then understands the lore. I fucking love his videos. Him reacting Bluey and diving deep into it is something I desperately needed and wished for. Thanks for the amazing reactions that you just don't stare and repeat the words "good" or "wow" over and over again and actually be a part of the audience.

Nux is probably my favorite YT creator right now, cause he's doing exactly what I do. Consume all the LORE! In the past month I've checked out WH 40K, Power Rangers, SCP, the Souls games, Elden Ring, Star Wars, Adventure Time and about to give Kingdom Hearts another go. I think what sets him apart is his actual attention and engagement with whatever he's checking out. Hell this video about Bluey is a perfect example of that.

@@ladeao1552 Yes! Thats exactly why I enjoy his videos very much. He doesn't just go and randomly say "Wow" while looking at the screen, he actually engages in what he watches like us wievers engaging in the videos we watch. Yes, this is how he earns money but he doesn't just do it for money and if anyone asks for proof about that I will slap the Adventure Time reactions to their faces. Nux actually puts efforts into what he watches and inspects *what* he watches. Damn, I love this man.

Dude, I had heard about Bluey for a while before but never gave it a second thought. When my daughter was about 1 we finally tossed an episode on so that I could cook and now 2 years later we've watched through the whole series probably 5 or 6 times. It's so wholesome, the characters are so charming, the banter is top notch. Every episode is so relatable. It teaches good lessons for both children and adults. Many episodes, while being fun for a kid, are very clearly directed at the parents watching. I have laughed at this show more than most adult shows I watch. And there are many episodes that left me misty eyed as well. I think anyone can enjoy this show, but I believe no one enjoys as much as the parents. Easily the best children's show ever made, and it isn't even close.

When I started watching it, my daughter had a hard time communicating her intention. now she's talking more, expressing herself with games, I can talk her through her emotions when shes upset. heart warming to have her come up and want to make a new game or tell me what game she wants to play. That and the show is just really wonderfully heart warming. Episodes like Onesie really hit me in the feels. Flatpack is insanely deep. The episode "The Show" literally hints at miscarriages

Probably sounds weird, but when I realized the kind of childhood I had missed out on, I cried. My parents never taught me anything useful or healthy. I was scared of them most of the time. A childhood that good exists? And I was never allowed to experience it? Why me? Why was I left out of commonly decent parenting?

Just talking about how much you love Bluey really doesn't do the show justice. It isn't until you actually sit-down for yourself and watch a batch of episodes that you finally come to appreciate how much thought and care went into the show. If someone told me they considered Bluey the greatest animated kids show ever made, I would find it very hard to argue against them.

When thos first came out in Australia i was the same thoughts as Nux. But cause i had a niece we had to watch it and i felt the same as Odd. It was a flashbang. I love the show. And with 8 minutes its easy to watch just a fuckton on.

My favorite Bluey episode is Dance Mode. The parents act a little more imperfect, sure, but it's a good, simple lesson on what consent is and what it means. Sometimes people say yes to please others, but really they want to say no. It's hard to learn to stick up for yourself if you're never taught how to.

Yes this makes so much sense. Of course you would do Bluey, it might be a wholesome cozy feel good romp but the part of it that really attracts adults, other than free therapy, is the fact that it builds a consistent world with background characters who legitimately feel like they are living alongside the main characters even when they aren't the focus of the episode. Like in the last season if you pay attention to the episodes then you'll see all these arcs running in the background that culminate in so many different results for the characters. We see multiple episodes where chili and bandit contemplate the shape of their house, and bandit disappears for work trips and then gets recognized in a short for an accomplishment. Then in the last couple episodes oh they're selling their house because bandits got a new career opportunity. Pay viewers did you happen to notice that the terriers mom and Winston's dad keep interacting with each other in the background? Well guess what they're getting together and selling their house and that's going to play a big role. It's set up so unnecessary good and consistent for a show aimed at 4 year olds. And the best part for me I have a 4 year old son we actually have a show that we can watch together and equally enjoy 😂

I wouldn't skip to the major emotional episodes without watching the others in the intended order. Some things in those less emotional episodes make those big episodes a lot more impactful.

As an Aussie, Bluey is an amazing show to watch that also has funny moments. Even without watching it with my niece and nephews, me and my little brother would check out the episodes whenever we can (and we’re both adults). I just love precious stories and very good animation.

The actual maker of bluey said he never thought he'd make a kid show and always planned on making animations directed at adults. Which totally explains why when he got pulled into making bluey he turned it into a show for adults disguised as a kid show. It's freaking amazing. And honestly you can watch each episode independent but time is actually a thing in a show and the characters mature and age as the series progresses. Plus it's fun to see references to previous episode as you watch. And the sign in season 3 is so full of Easter eggs I still wonder if anyone has actually identified all of them yet.

I have a 3.5 year old. it's how I came to know about bluey when my wife and daughter were watching it. While I didn't pursued watching it like I did MLP:FIM, the few episodes I watched was very well written. it they showed both the perspective of the kids and adults. they don't baby the viewer or dumb it down, but at the same time, little kids can get it. It is just a very well written show.

Well not to worry about most of the censors now. The rest of season 3 is now on Disney+ and it was moreso to do with licensing that they weren't up for so long, plus they've now uncensored most of the episodes, which means hopefully more to come!
