Mega Garchomp is said to be weaker than regular Garchomp for the lack of an item and lower speed in exchange for more stats that it doesn't need. Would be interesting to see if he struggles in this kind of run

Yeah the lack of a held item is certainly a hinderance. Even in this run, sometimes a cheri berry might have been more useful.

Nuzlocke series idea I had, which I feel like would be absurdly hard. We've seen things like "Crystal with only grass types" but I don't feel like we ever see these with PURE grass types. No second typing. Solely pure grass type Pokemon.

So there is a rom called Pokemon Emerald Expansion on the rocket hideout github. They used the decomp files and updated all the pokemon, moves, etc. I took that as a base and changed encounters, trainers, etc.
