NVDA- Keyboard Shortcuts to Read Text With

Hello. In this video which is almost 5 minutes long, I demonstrate the keyboard shortcuts that can be used with the screen reader NVDA in order to read text aloud.
I think all in all there are 16 shortcuts that I list in this video.
At the start of the video I also tell you how to check which keyboard setting NVDA is set to- laptop or desktop.

Hi James, great video, thanks for the pointers! I have a quick question which I'm sure has a very simple answer but I can't seem to figure out for the life of me, if you (or anyone in the know reading this) could answer it I'd be very grateful. On a mac there is a text-to-speech function built into the OS. When you highlight text and then press the keyboard shortcut it will read out the text that you have highlighted from the beginning of the highlighted area. Do you know if there is a way to do this though NVDA on windows? I just want it to be silent, except for when I press a keyboard shortcut that will make it start reading, and when it does start reading, I'm aiming for it to only read the text that I have highlighted and nothing more. *bonus points if you can get it to read out just the visible text in Wikipedia and not read out every hyperlink address etc as it goes over them as I can't seem to stop it doing that either. Thank you so so much in advance :)
