The name is actually quite clear. It is a predasessor to the 2000 or TU 20 line of GPUs. Probably the first TU iteration... Or at least the first sensible one for the current market. They should just drop the GTX and RTX and name the next gen after the GPU ex: TU1660 and TU2080 or even better drop the marketing all together and just put Nvidia TU 108 on the box. Marketing is the confusion and hidding of facts but mostly it just waste my time!

They should really get a dedicated audio guy on board, not try to get someone who does it maybe half-decently on the side. Hell, even a 5 second test recording before actually shooting would highlight the hissing and noise problems that sometimes plague their videos, and could be quickly diagnosed and fixed in the right hands. Or, just use some noise reduction software or careful EQing in post if setting up things properly before-hand is too much work/time.

Just because intel and the fanboys always want to tunnel vision on the high end doesn't mean that intel is winning. You can't compare a 9900k with a Ryzen 7 2700x. Thats almost 300bucks difference. You can buy a better monitor, a better graphics card or even a better cooler. In any way you wouldn't have any impact on Gaming performance when buying such a high end cpu, as you'd play on 1440p and higher. The bottleneck would be the gpu, which would in most cases benefit buying the AMD CPUs as you could buy a better GPU or better cooling for more silence. You could even buy a modmic dt880 and a creative z6. Let's compare a 7700k (which as of now costs about 65 Euros more than a 2700x) 7700k 4x 4,2GHz / 5,2 in most cases 2700X 8x 3,70 / 4,4 in most cases with a better cooler even 4,6 Now tell me which is better.

Depends what you want from the card, the low end is minor improvements. When you buy 600-700 cards the improvement has been significant. Coming from a 970 myself and bought a 2080 for 660 last month. :)

Well, with snapdragon 4xx is low end, 6xx is medium, 8xx is high end. Second and third number are exact model. For 8xx it goes like this (higher number is faster/better): 800, 801, 805, 808, 810, 820, 821, 835, 840, 845, 850, 855.

It''s not an improvement, it has 2gb less vram and a lower 192-bit bus comparatively. Notice the silent fuck you to nvidia at the end of the video. edit: I thought you were talking about he 1070 originally. They aren't selling most models of pascal anymore but there is a huge used market and some models are still being sold. When a product is mostly phased out you'll see a bunch of crappy listings that are priced much higher than they should be. Also if you're going by msrp that's dumb because it released in May 2016.

Smithy Smit but that’s the thing about the 1660ti which is that it takes the not needed stuff that makes the 1070 expensive and gets rid of it, and it will perform better than a mid range card and act more high end like a 1070. For me with a Asus gtx 1060 dual 6gb, the 1660ti is the same price and it performs like a 1070 so why wouldn’t I get a 1660ti when it cost less than the 1070? And 6gb of vram is more than enough to play with, some people still have 2gb cards that run like champs which I still had my gtx 950 until January.
