Nvidia RTX A6000 sparking noise when 80 degC +

I have heard this kind of sound before, Probably the gpu Fan is failing since you mention it only happen when is under heavy load.

Yes you are right it was the fan as seen in second video

i have no idea and this is a random guess: might be something flexing when it's getting too hot over time from constant temperature changes things can warp, this is why we have backplates now. around 2008-2011 many cards failed because of this and the type of solder Nvidia was using, it was possible to reflow cards... there was many videos of people putting them in the oven around that time to reflow the solder that has broken from flexing. but yeah just a guess, perhaps something is flexing due to heat. You say it happens underload after sometime.. if you can't return the card then inspect it and check all the screws, see if you can find signs of anything odd.

Thanks for valuable feedback, card is just 30 days old I will send it to for warranty, I tried to hold the rear backplate where the noise is coming from, and it was not more silent. Very strange, this noise starts after about 4minutes under temperature 80 degreees C+

Pretty sure thats the sound of plastic crackling under heat also how the hell did you get an a6000 and how is it in a computer After some digging I'd assume you're either using it for extremely high end rendering or in a server In either case its awesome seeing an a6000 randomly pop up into my recommended

I use it for the talos principle 2 - game, and LLM simillar to chatgpt :), the noise is from cooler, probably the fan
