eh, you're probably better off leaving it on for lower ends builds, even with the fps dip you'l get more fps by running low settings + reflex than on med/high settings

Bruh my games where running so bad and I was wondering why since the nvidia app came out and now that I no longer have the app installed. Crashes have been fixed, I can now overclock my gpu even more, and the frame time and charts have been significantly faster. The minimum power supply for a 7900xtx is a 800w power supply, it’s better to just get 1000w for that headroom, also in case if you got an I9 or Ryzen 9 which both consume more power

15% is an exaggeration to be fair. Most games the difference was 2-3% resulting in a 1-3 FPS difference. Only a very few select titles had bigger issues. Did you really expect a full triage and fix in the middle of Christmas holidays before CES? Turning it off by default is satisfactory as short term solution imo.

5700X3D off Aliexpress is your best bet for a CPU, not here to judge but why’d you choose to upgrade to a 7600xt? You should’ve gotten a more substantial upgrade like a 6700xt, 6750xt or 7700xt. Also next time you upgrade that GPU you’ll have to get a higher watt psu

Just wanna say that in minecraft java when the new uptade for nvidia launched i was getting 60fps i checked the drive then i went into the setting in minecraft and nvidia made the resolution worse(in minecraft the lower u make the resolution the worse fps) and i turned other settings that my device could easily handle and i turned all the settings up again and i was getting 144 fps again and if i left all the setting that the nvidia app made and only changed the resolution i would have 1500 fps

Imo 8gb is fine for 1080p, but when Intel, for example, gives you more bus width and 4 more gigs of VRAM for $50 cheaper, it goes to show how much you're being ripped off. And also, if you want to play at higher resolutions, you may start to see issues with low VRAM because of larger and higher definition textures, etc.

3060 ti is best performance, 3060 is most vram (12gb) & 4060 is best encoders & AI. Considering performance makes you stay at 1080p, you might be able to manage with 8gb. So overall get the 4060 for content creation and pray to dlss.

9800X3D is very overkill for a 4070 super, I’d recommend a Ryzen 7 7700x & Rx 7900xt instead. A good motherboard is the Asrock B650 steel legend wifi.

I5 10th gen won’t work at all with your 4070 ti super, you should switch to AM5 and get a 7500f and budget b650 motherboard and 32gb DDR5 6000mt/s cl30, try micro centre bundles maybe or just save a bit more and bend the budget a little
