Bought a coupe same color as yours in 1967 with black interior, console 3 spd. standard with 289. Also had a lime gold 67 fastback 289 4spd. fastback that i put the aluminized bezels into in 1971. Wish I still had those cars!

I can't wait to see this installed and lit up, All I can say is wow... also the aluminum won't pit like the chrome plated "pot metal". Also the acid bath is how the old racers would lighten their cars up...

Thank you! Stay tuned! I’ll have plenty more updates as I start in on the metal repair, paint, and assembly.

That's gonna be a sweet build when it's all done! If you're keeping track, it would be awesome to see a breakdown of total costs for the project!

Yeah, good call. I have it all on a spreadsheet right now, but I'll definitely put it together in a future video.

Nice! I have the dlx interior for my 67 convertible, if you still have those 2 pieces I could use them, my car was in an accident and the middle piece is cracked. Thanks either way it was nice of you to offer if you give them to someone else

Shoot me an email to classicnation@gmail.com with your contact info/address. I’ll send it to you. Do you just need the center piece, or the passenger lower dash side trim too?

I am looking for a new deluxe cluster gauge to replace my older one in my 67 mustang convertible, but mine doesn't have A/C. Do you still have those extra parts, probably not but thought I'd ask. I'm from Wenatchee, Wa. Great looking cluster gauge you got there!

I've been looking at these style guages for my truck and was wondering can you put the existing cars recorded miles into to the new speedometer???
@davegallinger74313 жыл бұрын
After watching your video I purchased the deluxe bezel and 69705-30 NVU gauge kit. Just putting together now. The gauge mounting instructions leave a bit to be desired. For example what is the upper support piece with adhesive for? Also, did you splice the speedo and tach amp wiring harnesses together into one connector? Do you have a wiring diagram or pictures of the back of the wired gauges? Any help sure would be appreciated. Thanks!!
@ClassicNation3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dave. The gauges that I got from them were already assembled and ready to drop in, so I didn't have any assembly/mounting instructions at all. I can send you over a picture of the back of my gauges if that would be helpful, but I'd also suggest calling NVU. Their support team was super helpful for me when I called them. Let me know!
@davegallinger74313 жыл бұрын
@@ClassicNation Okay, thank you. I'll call them tomorrow.

Gauge cluster looks great. I was able to source an original 8k cluster for my 67 fastback this past summer. Did the brushed aluminum bezel come with those gauges or did you just fasten a bezel you had to their cluster. LEDs are the way to go. My brushed gauge bezel is new but I'm concerned about the other aluminum pieces not matching. Where did you get the new aluminum pieces? II also have AC. Keep up the good work!
@ClassicNation4 жыл бұрын
The brushed bezel came with the gauges straight from NVU. I bought the other pieces from a subscriber on here who mentioned he had some extra dash pieces, and I bought the little aluminum trim insert kit (seen in the video) from Summit. Those are reproduced by Scott Drake. All my aluminum seems to match up pretty well!

Dude, that looks great! I have a ‘67 coupe I’ve been restoring for 30 years. haha I took a 27 year break from it. Anyway, is the color of your ‘67 coupe Frost Turquoise?
@ClassicNation3 жыл бұрын
Yep, it sure is! Frost Turquoise actually is the original color of both my ‘67 Mustangs!

Where did you find your ac controls ?
@ClassicNation4 жыл бұрын
Actually - someone who follows the channel reached out and asked if I was interested in buying them from him, since he had sold his '67 Shelby and had extra parts laying around. So I bought them from him.

@@ClassicNation thoes controls look sharp for sure original sets in Washington usually really faded and no chrome left on the plastic bezels nice score
