I am setting CNC control using NVCM6V2.1 USB I can't get the spindle to work every time I turn on the spindle it cannot turn off also when I turn on the spindle input 3 also active, it seems like it interferes with the VFD input. the VFD I'm using Etrac XFC2000. VFD input setting Active LOW measuring at the input voltage +13.5v any suggestion? The first time I use this controller it had so many problems. The manual says 12 to 24v but it won't turn on at 18v.

The convention is Red for + Black for - .... not vice versa :-)

Hi, which mach3 plugin version are you using? I have NVEM v2 and the plugin version 3.0b from novusun website has a lot of bugs. 1- delay in step jog mode, feed rate override, rapid override, feed hold from button press to execution (about 2 seconds). 2- can't home more than 2 axis at a time if limit switches are being shared with home switches. 3- probe does not work. 4- auto and manual limit switch override does not work. 5- slave axis autosquaring does not work. 6- soft limits do not work. I'm sure there is plenty more but I find those from working daily with the controller.

Hi Pierre,generally when the controller supplier send the controller, there will has a CD in box, there has plugin in CD, the bugs may caused by settings on mach3 software,pelase consult your controller supplier.

Great video, thank you. Would the VFD connections be the same using a Novusun UC300 USB controller? Any idea of the output port number Novusun uses for the spindle's VSO?

Hi,yes,the connections are same with UC300 controller, which is a upgrade of NVUM,the UC300 is very stable and Extremely anti-interference, it has almost overcome all shortcomings of NVUM. So if you need to make CNC machine, mach3 controller is professional on CNC support.

@@yuyongindustry Thank you. Do you know what spindle port number to use (input port setting and output port setting) in DrufelCNC to turn the spindle on/off from the software? The VFD is configured for external control, but isn't getting the variable voltage V1I output from my UC300... my multimeter is reading 0 volts.

@@ck1648 Hi,different spindle have different welding port,we don't know how is your spindle and how is your DrufelCNC,the VI1 on VFD to VSO on UC300,please consult your spindle supplier and controller supplier.

Hi,we haven't test this on Plasma,so will not give any suggestion, sorry,we suggest you can consult plasma supplier and then check the port of NVUM.

I had follow all the step.unlucky still can connect to mach3 software.only limit swicth are working when diagnos.are nvum controller surpose to show red light when power is on?stepper driver show blue light.
