As far as football tricks go, this is one of the simplest but when used effectively, it's almost impossible to stop.

Nwankwo Kanu's Signature Feint aka The Scoop Turn and it's variations.
Nwankwo 'Papilo' Kanu is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He was a member of the Nigeria national team, and played for Nigerian team Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Dutch side Ajax, Inter Milan of Italy, and English clubs Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion and Portsmouth.
Kanu won a UEFA Champions League medal, a UEFA Cup medal, three FA Cup medals and two African Player of the Year awards amongst others. He is one of few players to have won the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, UEFA Cup and an Olympic Gold Medal.

With the simple trick, Nigeria enjoyed a lot of penalties. Even when all hope seem lost, this legend will just manufacture one penalty with this trick for us. God bless you Legend.

I had the privilege to watch both Jay Jay and Kanu in their respective clubs during the 90s down to the early 2000s , to be sincere Kanu was far better than Jay Jay. This his famous " c turn " dribble could destroy 2 or more defenders at once while Okocha's famous step over was meant just for 1 defender. At times Okocha would confuse himself and his team mates with his famous step overs . Looked at the way Kanu dribbled 2 Brazilian defenders without any effort in Atlanta 96 and scored , that was pure magic. I am one of those rear individuals who strongly believe Kanu was better than Okocha .

You aren't that rare. We hype J.J. it doesn't mean we don't know Kanu is arguably Nigeria's best player ever.

JayJay will always be the most loved one, because of the very special entertaining factor, truly unique, one can't just help but love him and hype him; but I think everybody knows that Kanu was the greater player, one has just to look at the career, after all. Gotta love them both though, I would do anything go back and watch again a game where JJ and Kanu are both involved.

Kanu better than Jay Jay? Where? In clubs or national team?
@badrobotNG
@badrobotNG 4 ай бұрын
If you talk about as a complete footballer, yes. But with respect to just raw dribbling talent Jay Jay and kanu don't belong in the same stratosphere. Jay Jay was just too talented. His football acumen and decision making where subpar however. Kanu had a better more holistic understanding of the game and his field vision was better than Okocha. Okocha in his later years closed those gaps in his game however.

Sir could you please make a video about Fode Mansare. He was an amazing dribbler. You probably recognize him. He's a Guinean. He played for Montpellier. He played amazingly, I especially remember the matches against Psg .Sir, please consider this topic. Fode Mansare often did very similar feints to Nwankwo Kanu. You made one video dedicated to this feint movement. I admire your work, Sir. Regards.

This famous Kanu's dribble could result to a penalty when the defender refused to give way. This explains why many times his clubs and national team were privileged with penalties when they needed an equalizer or a victory in a tense game.
