Just a tip... You don't need another swivel above you're inline weight... Just attatch your mainline to the inline and use it as your swivel👌

Your comment about swivels is so true. My first choice is Sampo and second is Spro. Check at Spro’s #8 swivel rated at 50lbs. Micro in size. Pretty good rotation. If I am truly avoiding line twist then hands down it is Sampo. They are not cheap but they are the best. Nice vid. Thank you

Thanks man! Glad that the video is helping folks out. The quick hookset really helped me out. Others have said to let them munch on it for longer, but I’ve experimented with just not setting the hook to see what happens. 90% of the time the bobber comes back up after less than a second and never goes down again. So really, you’ve got that one shot to make it count. Good luck man 👍 I’m gonna try and get out today. Haven’t bobber & egg fished in too long!

Hi man, Me and my friend Chris ( who helped u with the camera) were at the log when u got that king out. Couple days after the video was posted, that spot was FULL with people fishing on eggs. Hell yeah bro idk if you did it already but I’ll try to find it. I bought a marathon sentinel for 25$ and a 20 dollar eagle claw tackle kit. Idk what swivels are how to use them and when to use them. I would like to get taught how to set up rigs and when to use them and why’s it a good rig. Bobbers I don’t know how to tie them or set them up or weights

B G I just want more info on the basics hooks, swivels, line type and all that I live in Fresno county California. I didn’t say I would target salmon on my first attempt I just want to get the basics down casting, reeling , setups. NW fishing secrets has valuable information on salmon but i won’t try to get that anytime soon. I’m a newbie. Maybe later in life I could get a prized salmon but for now I just want to get confident and knowledgeable with all fishing related.
