NWP 75mm "Big Bore" Throttle Body Install

Just had my Kinetix plenum install and was looking for a throttle body and just happened to stubble on your video. I'm going to put an order to get a NWP 75mm big bore throttle body. The install loos pretty easy. That should save me about a $100 bucks.

It’s worth it. After I got the car returned again with a decent intake. AND the plenum. That is really awake. Watch a more recent video to see it blow up on a track though 😂

The other gasket goes on before the adapter plate. You forgot that one.

Zorbii did you ever invest in a catch can? You loose vacuum pressure with a pcv delete

I never had a catch can. A catch can is also vented to atmosphere so you’re supposed to lose crank case pressure with them as well. With some built engines the blow-by will push through seals and pop a dip stick out occasionally so deleting pcv and venting to atmosphere OR getting a big enough catch can will fix the issue.

Zorbii Yeah, good point. Im not sure my catch can vents at all though. Add W1’s v3.3 for the Z. Built in twister baffler and it also has a line running to the intake just before my throttle body, as well as the negative and positive lines coming from the crank case

That sounds like a functioning catch can. It just replaces your OEM pcv system. Bat all catch cams are vented to atmosphere

What sizes is ur intakes, I saw u got 3 " inch now...but how the car Drove before upgrade the intakes

It was a 4” intake and drove great once tuned by LMT.

Not at all. It’s a plug n play mod. Car will run fine with it, just need to get a tune to maximize gains from it

Zorbii I installed mine yesterday I was having problems at the beginning I did the idle relearn but it would still idle at 1k but I disconnected the batter for like 20 min then it’s fine now

I have a 350z and once i start reaching 5k rpms it feels like it loses power and the rpms would go up but very slow. Do you think it could be my throttle body?

If it’s on a stock tune, that might be part of it. Getting some bolt ons and a tune gives the car a little more power in high RPM’s

Zorbii alright so i fixed it but i got this code p0000 and idk what it is i did all the research and i cant find the problem everytime im driving it has like a random misfire and it sound like if im shooting flames

No. Mine works great, the only time I’ve ever had issues was with the throttle body relay. Completely unrelated to any mod I’ve made though

I think there is actually a different throttle body kit for the VHR. But you shouldn’t need a tune for this.
