NWS: EF1 tornado, microburst caused damage in Edinburg

The damage from Tuesday’s storms in Edinburg, Saratoga County was caused by a combination microburst and an EF-1 tornado, the National Weather Service said.

The map they show is totally wrong. They show the hamlet of Edinburg on the west side of the lake. No damage there at all, the damage is on the east side of the lake about 5 miles north of there. It in the TOWN of Edinburg but nowhere near the downtown hamlet like they show.

I WAS DRIVING IN IT ON RT32. IN MAPLEWOOD. TOOK COVER UNDER THE RT7 OVERPASS UNTIL IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE AGAIN.
