Umarex..I have this airgun and like it pretty well but it holds air for some reason..I bought it from Walmart for 60 some bucks and can't return it ..is this a defect? I haven't had it very long , it's done this since I bought it ..I'll pump it up and shoot it then recock it and it blows out air again without repumping

The only ones of these that I see for sale on line now says that it is the Youth Model in the description. Is that what the one you have in the video here is? I want to order one but I want to make sure that it is the same one in your video. In my searching all the ones in any of the feed on the all the websites says Youth Model but it does say 800 FPS but I think it says the length may be just a little shorter. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

It is the same. The length will be the same. There is a model that is 490 fps so just be sure you're ordering the 800 fps version if that's what you're after. And, thank you.

I was trying to figure out if there was an Adult model or what because the ones I saw all said Youth model but it said 800 FPS. So I Thank You for clearing it up for me. Both rifles are the same length and 2 models because of the lower and higher FPS. I take it that the lower FPS is probably the Youth model. Thank You very Much for responding.

things I liked about the gun: I liked the very sleek "tacticool" design of the gun. I liked that the pump handle is an actual handle and not just the foregrip of the rifle. I liked the size and weight of the gun, I liked how quiet it is when under 10 pumps. I liked that it can have up to 10 pumps (around 650 FPS with 10 pumps, totals to around 6.6 foot-pounds at the muzzle). THINGS I DID NOT LIKE: The scope is very flimsy and it hard to zero. you have to meticulously unscrew and rescrew everything with perfect alignment every time you want to take the scope on and off, and the screws are very small and easy to lose. I don't like how the BB loading port in the bolt is the same place you load pellets, so when you're trying to load a pellet, the pellet can fall into the BB port and get almost unreversably stuck. I don't like how inconsistent the pump feels, sometimes it feels like some pumps put almost no air in, and has no resistance when pumping, and other times the pump can be impossibly hard to pump. i want nice hard pumps each time, yet the gun is quite inconsistent. The trigger pull is inconsistent. I don't like the open sight elevator adjuster, because the adjuster is not labeled. you have range notches yet no idea what they mean. I don't like how useful the manual is. it only tells you the barebones of what to do, and even then unclearly. try sighting in your rifle based on the manual. I dare you. I don't like how 99% of the gun is "synthetic" which is basically just plastic. OVERALL: 6.7/10 would buy for price range, but needs better sighting and more reliable pump/trigger.

Dawg I bought one, I can pull the trigger, but the pumps I give on the gun doesn’t push the pellet out I could pump it but when I pull the trigger it only pulls the trigger but doesn’t shoot the pellet

As long as you know your target and what is beyond it this sounds reasonable, especially if you have an earthen backstop. Wear eye pro when target shooting in case of a ricochet. Unload. Put on safe. Use a .177 ramrod to gently push the jammed projectiles out. Follow the owner's manual.

Hello. I cannot find this answer online easily so I'm asking it here. What muzzle velocities would be achieved with less than the 10 recommended pumps? How few pumps risk the pellet or BB not exiting the barrel? I am asking as there is a short range I am going to use this model of airgun at for bulk practice and would like to choose an appropriate muzzle velocity that would be slower than full strength but fast enough to practically be the same aim at short distance. Late to the party but technically you just need 1 pump, for your case I'd say about 3 or 4 would be more than enough

I think the myth was to prove or disprove if a BB gun can blow out a cars rear window. It did in spectacular fashion. From about 6ft away. I'm assuming they must have had some kind of modification.

I pumped mine up 20x and chronographed 719fps with gamo raptor gold 5.4gr. Pellet. Got 815fps. same pellet same pumps in a daisy 880.

This airgun sounds good except for one thing. I understand it uses some weird scope mount rail, so you can't install a decent scope on it. I've used enough of these cheap 4x15 scopes to know they will hold the shooter back. I love multi-pump airguns, and have quite a few. But, the scope mounting situation on this one means, I'm out. I'll go with te Bear River Sportsman 900, which uses the standard 3/8"/dovetail system, and has Weaver/pickatinny side rails for mounting lights, lasers, whatever. I will not be stuck having to use a 4x15 scope.

No you can, they have adaptors at walmart for it. You have to use a air gun scope. Numb nuts try to put riffle scopes on a bebe gun because they SUCK at shooting. Which is why they play with bebe guns.

I just got done dialing it in with the included "cheap" scope. With bebe it's not accurate at all. With simple hollow points its deadly accurate. I'm in a silver dollar group in a vice at 50 feet. First of all it is not intended for adults who are avid shooters. It has a child safety mechanism for a reason. I'm got it for my 8 yo to start plinking with. It's a great first gun with no accidental shots in the ass while i check targets. I've hunted a lot of squirrels in my youth, and at over a hundred feet hitting a golf ball size kill zone while it's on the move ? Good luck. You dont NEED anything more than a 4x15 scope because the gun itself is not meant to shoot anything farther than that. Why do people think a good scope will make a pellet gun become a 30-06 ? You do know that a Simmons 12 power scope weighs more than this gun right ?

I *think* it says 11 mm dovetail and Umarex makes 11mm dovetail scopes, so *probably* they will fit. I am in the process of trying to figure out which scope to buy and wether it will fit or not, because for a beginner like me, scope/rifle compatibility is IMPOSSIBLE to figure out via the Internet.

Adam Morgan The practice with an air rifle will never help with an actual firearm. The .22 will shoot different, it will weigh more, etc. Only thing you can practice with it is safety.
