You will need a dedicated airgun compressor, normal air compressors won't give you the 4500 psi.

This video really help me...just got the same gun today and thought it was leaking from the manometer ...but checked the degassing screw and that was it! I am soooo glad not to be returning it to Krale...great service by the way those guys! Hope it holds air overnight but all seems good now thanks to this very informative video!!! The styling on this gun is AMAZING by the way ....Umerex....WOW!!!!

The rear sling mount on my Gauntlet 30 doesn’t work with Magpul quick disconnect sling swivels. Swivel pulls loose when pressure is applied. Is there a sling swivel recommended for this air rifle?

Are you able to add a front and back iron sight to this?

Not a readily available way to put a front sight on it. You can add an removable Pic-mount rear sight. Might look at Hi-Viz or similar for adaptable front posts.

Correct. That screw in the bottom of the stock is to degas the rifle.

@@UmarexAir Thanks, I needed this clarification as I have the Umarex 2 .25 caliber as well but it's degas is on the left side of the rifle. My .30 has been leaking air through the intake valve, when I put the nipple cover back on it pops off, and if I cock the side lever I can hear air draining from the barrel. I am going to fill the tank halfway and degas, I was told this should fix the problem. I have yet to find out, if it does not I can still send it back to be refurbished or send me a new rifle. I have only had it 9 months. Thanks for this Reply... 🤙🏼

How long can you keep air in there without using it . Will seals or anything like that go bad if under pressure for long periods of time .

Oh, hard to find 'em under $100. There are some great options on the market and we don't think you'll go wrong with any of them... DonnyFL, Sonus, 0dB... all work well.

Mine didn't come with ball or pin in it. Since its continuously held open it isn't required. Also so ppl wouldnt try screwing on and off full airtanks. You have to degass it first.

Does it come with the fill port hookup? I know some come with different types of fill nozzles. I guess I need to know if I need to buy anything else to get it filled other than the compressor that I just ordered today. Thanks

You won't need anything else, the Gauntlet has the quick connect fill-port.

I have a gauntlet 30 caliber. Has a very slow leak,not really a problem per se. My problem is that I tried to turn the hammer spring to lower the speed. And the provided allen wrench stripped out. That bolt will not move at all. Going to buy some Allen head sockets to try to bust it loose. Did they put loctite on it?

Must be something on it. Doesn't come out. Screw is stripped out and useless now. I've been at it with a drill bit so I can get it apart. Bought a replacement from terminador. Umarex won't send me the part. Have to send gun in. Not happening

Greetings, I have a doubt, if the air escapes through the cannon, what should I do? I did the checks suggested in the video, but when I fill the tank, air automatically enters and escapes through the barrel. I even put my finger on the mouth of the barrel and it feels like the air is escaping. I love rifle, but is this repairable?

Do you have it cocked when trying to fill it? If not, do so, but keep it free of projectiles (unloaded)

So i have a pellet trapped halfway in the barrel and magazine, i cant remove the magazine nor can i fully push the pellet into the breech, there is air in the tank so i dont believe i can fully remove the barrel, what are my options for fixing this problem?

Make sure on safe. Degas it fully. Pull bolt/side lever all the way back. Carefully insert a cleaning rod with no attachment into the barrel and apply light pressure to the pellet so that it goes back into the magazine. Unlikely the pellet could get sideways to an excessive degree, but it could be possible. If that is the case, sacrifice the magazine or call to set up a return auth. 479-646-4210 ext.7 Mon-Fri 8-5 Central time zone.

@@UmarexAir I ended up taking a hammer and flat object and lightly tapping the magazine the pellet kind of got smashed and but somehow was pushed back into the magazine, I then cleared the barrel to see if there was anything like a broken piece of the pellet but it was all clear, took it out and shot a few rounds with great accuracy and success, all is good, thank you for the response.

Yeah, I forgot to cock it and spent like 3 minutes running the compressor and thinking, wow, this is a big tank. When I turned off the compressor, I could hear air coming out of the barrel 😆. It only took a few seconds before I could notice the needle moving after cocking it.

You're not tightening it, you're making sure it is fully seated. Once you air it up, the tank gets tight and doesn't have that "play" anymore

The best way is to use a high-pressure airgun compressor or airgun "scuba" type tank made for PCP airguns.

And you can take it to a paintball or airgun shop to get it filled if you don't have a way to fill it yet, most of those shops have a high-pressure compressor to fill tanks for a small fee.

@@UmarexAir Small compressors and hand pumps have a hard time seating the poppet seal and continue to leak. You need to have vendors pre fill prior to shipping to avoid returns. Also see my other comment for further feedback if you all really care.

After reading the reply & many very carefull re-watches, I believe there was no untoward actions. The seemingly sudden WTF reaction of the person being filmed was due to the recording being sped-up and not because anything went wrong.

I bought this gun and it LEAKS straight from the factory. Dont be fooled people it will not hold air. It was not tested from the FACTORY.. I own 3 Gaunlet rifles and will never buy another Umarex again. I have not been able to find a o ring kit to fix this problem .The bolt action is not smooth as it should be .I put the gun in my closet and has never been used again. I would return the gun but it is a pain in the butt to return any rifle. Umarex needs to address this problem.

Fill capacity limitation is likely the device being used to fill with. =/ Might take a look at that. Another thing is the gauge could be off, but based on number of shots doesn't seem like it.
