Why can’t you use the griddle in Minnesota in the winter? We use ours all the time
@Scott144K2 жыл бұрын
@@kurt3543 it’s not enjoyable to sit outside with my cooks when it’s 20 degrees and windy. Also, cheese doesn’t melt on burgers without a basting cover. It’s just not worth the trouble.

@kurt3543 Good discussion guys and we agree. If it's a nice winter day with strong sun it's not to bad but those days we are filming and it is very cold get uncomfortable pretty fast. That being said though, we do end up still using them. Snow boots and insulated pants here we come LOL! Thanks for watching guys! -N

Hellva idea for a NYC crust !! I took a frozen 4 cheese pizza (1.99 on sale) and added some more toppings and set my electric Blackstone on 400 and put pizza in and lid down . By the time the toppings were all done the crust bottom was all nice and toasty & crunchy !!

I love this! I'm definitely going to try this! Born and raised in MA and for 15 years, before I moved to NC, I worked at Logan Airport. I was too cheap to pay for parking so I always found a spot under the bridge next to Santarpio's. I guess it goes without saying that I made a ton of pit stops on the way in to work for some pizza. Thanks for this great idea. I was always focused on MAKING the pizza on the griddle too.

I do something similar on leftover pizza on a two burner cast iron griddle pan on the stove. Never thought about get a plain cheese pizza and add my own toppings. You right though it does improve the crust. When I make a pizza on my green egg they are like the wood fire oven pizzas. But leftovers get soggy that why I use the griddle pan. This would be great for a party instead of order several pizza with different Toppings doing it this way allows you to save on the pizza orders and add topping to individual taste and no leftovers you may not like. Like the concept and thanks for the tip.

Griddle Guys if you have a Trader Joes there pick up a dehydrated spice called Soffritto . Try it on sourdough toast or toasted bagget. Add butter to the toast or the bagget and sprinkle on the soffrtto. Another excellent way is to order a cheese pizza and sprinkle with soffrtto. Give them all a try.
